Hey guys!

I will try to update a lot this break.  And I honestly already have a lot of other chapters done.  I just don't want to post them all at once...

I searched for Darrien at school but he never showed.  While day dreaming about his "family thing" I was interrupted by a tap on my shoulder.  I turned my head to see Trevor smiling at me.  "I see you decided to sit back here again," he said.

Despite my sour mood, it was easy for me to smile back.  "I like this spot."

Before the conversation could develop, Mr. Gringer began the lesson for today and we both faced the front of the class.  Not too long after Mr. Gringer started his lecture on the Korean War, a small piece of paper was tossed on my desk.

I opened it to see a small but neat handwritten note:  "Call me later?"

I looked over to see Trevor quickly look away, and I couldn't help but notice a small blush creep on his face.  My face also felt hot as I scribbled "sure" along with my number.  Before I could send it back, Mr. Gringer had made his way over to my desk and snatched the note away.

"What is so important about this small piece of paper, Miss Brown?"

"Uh-Um, nothing really," I stuttered.  I watched horridly as he tore open the small note and scanned over it.

"I feel that phone calls are really important," he said smugly. "Just as important as notes.  And there is a time and place for both phone calls and notes, and my class is not the time for either of them."  Mr. Gringer walked to the front of the room and threw the note in the trashcan and continued his lesson.

I exhaled a breath, relieved that he didn't say who wrote it to me.  The last thing I needed was a rumor around talking about me cheating on Darrien.  That would be very ironic.  I looked towards Trevor and he mouthed the word, "sorry."

            "It's okay," I mouthed back.

The end of school was bittersweet today.  On the good side, there was the fact that I'm one day closer to the end of my high school career, but, on the bad side, there was the doctor's appointment.  Kristen said that she would come with me, being the god mother and all, and that made me feel a little better about going.  As I was waiting by my car for Kristen after school, Trevor spotted me and headed over.

"Hey, Cass.  What's up?" he smiled.

"Just waiting for Kristen," I replied simply.  My nerves were getting the best of me and I did not want to give him too much information.

"Oh, okay," he said.  I thought he'd say his goodbyes and leave, but he just stood there and we both let the awkward silence settle.  "About earlier...." he started.

"Mhm?" I edged him, completely clueless.

"I never got the note back, and I was wondering if I could still get your number."
