Hey guys!!! I think I'm going to start putting my A/N at the beginning of the chapter...

As you can see, I'm updating a lot more often than I was the past couple of months.  BUT I still have a ton of work and scholarship applications to fill out right now :/

Either way, I hope you enjoy this chapter.  Talk to y'all at the end (:

Thankfully, the week flew by, and it was Saturday.  When I woke up, Delany was already awake, writing in her journal.

I turned in my bed and watched her for a few minutes, enjoying the silence.  Soon, my curiosity got the best of me.  "Good morning.  What are you writing about?" I asked..

"Nothing,"  she said, quickly closing the book.  I jumped from the bed and lunged at her, quickly snatching the book from her and turning to the page she was just writing on.

"Dear Diary,"  I started out loud.  "He is so cute-"

"Stop, Cassidy."  she yelled, snatching the book from my hand and tucking it in her shirt.

"Oh gosh, Laney, chill out.  Who is this 'he' you're talking about?"  I asked.

"None of your business."

"Fine then.  I was going to ask if you wanted to come to Kristen's with me, but never mind."

"I do want to go.  Please?"

"Hmmm," I said, putting a finger to my head to show that I was thinking.  "Only of you tell me who 'he' is."

"I'll tell you later, Cassidy."

"Promise?"

"Absolutely,"  Delany said.  "Don't you have a break-up outfit to plan?"

"Delany, this is a completely unfair relationship we have.  I tell you when I'm going to break up with my boyfriend-slash-baby-daddy, and you can't tell me who your crush is.  I think we need to reevaluate this,"  I pouted.

"Oh, stop whinning and pick out your outfit.  You have to look cute tonight at the party."

"And I will.  You worry about finding a good hiding place for your diary, because I'm coming for it," I teased.

I took a quick shower and put my hair in a top bun.  After walking around my room in a towel for twenty minutes, I finally decided to put on a mint green spaghetti strapped dress that stopped mid-thigh, and my brown sandals.  Even though I don't wear makeup usually, I put on a thin layer of eye-liner and some cherry lip stain.

When Delany walked into our room, she gasped.  "You are definitely ready for the party tonight."

"Thanks Laney.  Are you ready to go to Kristen's?"

I always knew Trevor had money, but not this much money.  The drive-in movie theater was basically transformed into a carnival.  There was a ferris wheel, three bouncy castles, a cotton candy machine, a popcorn machine, and even a snowcone machine.  It was like the movie was there for background  noise.  To top it off, there were a lot of people here.  Even though Kristen and I were only ten minutes late, it seemed like the party has been started an hour ago.

"Hey, babe,"  I heard in my ear.  Darrien placed his chin on my shoulder.

"Hey," I said.  I already told Kristen that I was going to wait until the end of the night to break up with him, that way the party wouldn't be ruined for either of us.  Since Matt wasn't here yet, Kristen was paying full attention to me.  I could feel her eyes burning bald spots in my scalp as I let Darrien kiss my cheek.
