author's note: big deviation from the main story. idea is simple: instead of hooking up with kiba the week before school, you end up talking to obito at the frat party. read along to see how hugely the story changes from such a little decision.

the night of the frat party...

reader pov

he directed me to a huge frat house. the party was already going strong. strobe lights and beer all around. i made sure to park far away. i dont want my car fucked up by some accident. im not gonna get real drunk so i can at least drive home. we walked up to the door .we were stopped by two burly guys. "entrance is 40 each," one of them grumbled. i turned on my heels. that's too much. sasuke grabbed my arm. he dug out the money handed it to them they nodded and stepped aside. he pulled me inside.

had to be at least 300 people in here. loud deafening dubstep music was playing as people drunk and danced around. some were making out. one man and woman were fucking on the sofa. i took a sealed beer bottle. i know about these things. never take a uncovered cup. really i should have brought my own shit but a sealed bottle is just as good. i took a seat on the sofa next to the fucking couple and sipped the beer as i watched the happenings around me. a group of guys playing beer pong. a group of girls eating jello shots off each other. didn't see anything gay here so im not really interested. i sighed. why did i come here with him? im not even a party goer. i just went cause it sucks being at home bored. i could have spent time with hidan like he sooo wanted me to but i thought this might be more fun. i spotted a guy off in the distance. he downed beer after beer as the guys around him cheered 'chug, chug, chug'. he was cute but looks like a player. probably has three girlfriends here right now and none of them know about each other. pretty buff but kinda short. short brown hair. weird red tattoos on his cheeks but still pretty hot. i shrugged.

it was about 20 minutes of boredom before i decided it was enough. i couldn't really leave sasuke here by himself so i decided to go ahead and do some exploring. i got up off the sofa and weaved through the tightly pressed bodies in some random direction. whichever way the bumping and grinding forced me would be just fine.

it was a minute before i stumbled into a doorway. the door was open and there were steps descending to a lower level. what made the dark stairway intriguing? well the music was loud enough to make me deaf by morning and it seemed pretty quiet down there. i could drink in peace. either that or im too fucking drunk to be suspicious. i dont care. i started down the steps. it was a door at the bottom, indicating another room. door was cracked open and light was leaking through it. it lit up the landing of the stairs, revealing a washing machine and dryer as well as some baskets of dirty clothes and some detergent sitting on the dryer. pretty normal basement set up right here. it was quiet, the noise of the party seemingly distant from here. i opened the door, revealing a room. tsk....about twice as big as mines. a bed in the far corner. some dirty clothes scattered about. two cases of beer next to the bed, one full while the other was half empty. i invited myself inside the quiet room. whoever's room this was will just have to deal. not like im shitfaced and throwing up. just gonna....help myself to the beer. i closed the door, leaving it cracked like it was, and took a seat on the bed, helping myself to too beers before the door opened again. "goddamn it!! i told them not to let anyone down in my room!!" yelled the guy. he was cute. id hit that. serious expression, cute face, taller than the guy from earlier but roughly the same build. half of his face was burned pretty bad. like he got into a fight with a flamethrower....and the flamethrower won.
