Revenge

Chapter 1

"Alright mom, I'm off to go see my Pokemon!" Ash exclaimed as he ran out the door with Pikachu at his side.

"Okay dear, lunch will be ready at 1:30!" Delia exclaimed from the nearby window, waving as her son went running off to the lab.

"I'm so excited to have everyone meet the others! And of course to see everyone too!" Ash said to Pikachu.

"Pika pika!" Pikachu replied, agreeing with Ash. Ash ran up the path that led to Professor Oak's lab and stopped running at the door. He opened the door and walked in to Professor Oak cleaning up Oshawott. He noticed some soot covering him and tilted his head in confusion. "What happened here???" he questioned.

Professor oak turned his head, his expression lighting up, "Ash! Welcome back, and Oshawott here got into a little dispute with Quilava but all is okay now!" he explained. Oshawott looked at the door and once he spotted Ash, he got excited and started splashing the water.

"Oshawott, Osha!!!" he exclaimed.

"Relax Oshawott!" Professor Oak chuckled. He got a towel and took him out, and Oshawott ran and hugged Ash's leg. "I missed you too buddy!" Ash chuckled. "How was Kalos?" Oak asked as he poured the water down the drain.

"It was amazing, professor! I didn't win the league, but I was in the finals! I was so close, for sure I know I have what it takes to make it next time!" he exclaimed with a passion visible to anyone who knows him very well.

"I'm glad to hear that! I know for sure you can do it!" Oak cheered on as he put some stuff away. Ash looked around the room and saw a board with a bunch of different flyers posted on it.

"What is this, professor?" he asked, "You never had this in here before..."

Oak looks over, "That's a board I put up for announcements and such for trainers, why don't you take a look at it? Maybe you can find your next adventure there!" he encouraged.

"Why not..." Ash thought out loud. Pikachu hops onto his shoulder and takes a look with Ash. Nothing really catches Ash's eye, until Pikachu points at a flyer.

"Pika-pi!" he exclaimed, calling Ash's attention to a blue flyer. He reads out:

"Attention Trainers! Ready to meet trainers from all over the mainland? Now's your chance! Come attend Pallet Town's first ever Poke-Tourney!" he goes quiet and keeps reading the details. "Professor, when was this posted???" Ash asked. Oak goes over and looks at the flyer, "Someone came in two weeks ago to post this! I knew this would be for you, I just wasn't sure when you'd be back!" he replied, "Are you planning on competing?"

"Of course I am!" Ash replied, "C'mon buddy, let's go talk to the others and figure out who's down for competing!"

"Pikachu!" he replied, and they both ran outside.

After saying his hellos and introducing everyone to his Kalos Pokemon, he had everyone gathered to make the announcement.

"So I found out that there's a tourney happening here in town and I wanted to know if anyone was interested in coming to join me?" Everyone chimed in, obviously excited to get the chance to battle alongside Ash one more time.

He laughed, "As much as I would love to have you all on my team, I can only take six of you total!" After much discussion and some arguing and fighting between Pokemon, Ash chose Pikachu, Sceptile, Hawlucha, Charizard, Buizel, and Noctowl.

"Alright everyone, we have some retraining to do if we plan on winning this time!" Ash exclaimed. Everyone cheered on in excitement, obviously ready to battle. "Hold on a minute young man!" a female voice suddenly exclaimed. Ash turned around, only for it to be Delia with some containers in hand and Mr. Mime by her side carrying a bag and some drinks.

"It's already 3 o'clock and I'm so shocked you didn't show!" she said.

Ash rubbed the back of his head, "Sorry mom, I got too excited for the tourney that I lost track of the time!"

"Of course, you never refuse a challenge..." she sighed, "But that's alright, you're just doing what you love! I brought food for us and Professor Oak, let's go inside and eat before the food gets cold," she smiled. Ash smiled and nodded, following her into the lab.
