The weekend finally hit, Ash trained hard with his Pokemon this past week and they felt pumped and ready to go, especially after eating a big breakfast. Ash rushed to the other side of town to find that there was a stadium built just for the event. There was a long line of people, but that didn't matter to him. After about an hour of waiting, that's when the effects of waiting hit him and he started feeling frustrated.

"Why can't this line go any faster???" he exclaimed, earning him some looks. As always, he was oblivious to it and sulked with Pikachu. After another hour of waiting, some shouting from nearby got his attention.

"I swear to god you will NOT get away with any of your plans!" a girl yelled at a guy, him obviously being a lot older than her. She looked the same age as Ash, and is also a trainer judging from the PokeBalls hanging off of her belt.

"We'll see about that... See you in the tourney..." the older man chuckled, teasing the girl in an obvious manner. He walked away and the girl was left in an anger strong enough to leave her fuming. A Lucario that was by her side looked like he was trying to comfort her and help her relax, but she wasn't taking it.

"He's evil Lucario... There's no way he'll hurt anymore Pokemon..." she said. He nodded, but he was still upset seeing his trainer upset. Ash took a good look at her: she had the most unique colored eyes he's seen. It's not everyday you find someone with eyes blended with green eyes mixed with grey. She had light brown hair identical to Serena's, but her side fringe over the left (her right) side of her face was hanging down. She had on a green hoodie with no sleeves on and her hood up so you couldn't see the rest of her hair. She also had a black long sleeve shirt under the hoodie, light blue skinny jeans and black belt, and black combat boots that reached up to the bottom of her knees. She also had on a long pendant with a white round stone hanging around her neck and her tourney badge under it.

Ash quickly realized it was his turn to sign up and he did as quickly as he could in order to go talk to the girl. He was delayed by the system not being able to find his trainer record, which was ridiculous since he's been to so many events, he was eventually found and signed in.

He turned around to where the girl was, and just as he expected she was gone. He sighed in frustration, Pikachu noticing without any problems. "Pikachu..." he said sadly.

"She looked so mad, buddy... I wonder what happened... I got a bad feeling from it..." he said. Ash walked into the stadium, making his way to the section where the trainers sat at and found his seat. "109, here it is buddy!" he exclaimed. "Pi-Pikachu!" Pikachu replied happily, relieved that they can just sit and relax before battling.

Suddenly, a Raichu took a seat in the chair in front of Ash's and just enjoys the view of the battle fields.

"I wonder who's Raichu this belongs to..." Ash quietly said to Pikachu.

"Pi-Pika! Pikachu?" Pikachu asked Raichu. Raichu's ears twitched and he turned around, "Rai! Raichu Rai!" he replied with a smile. Pikachu kept up the conversation, seemingly asking Raichu many questions and getting responses. Suddenly, his ears went up and he turned to Ash. "Pi-Pikachu!" then he used his ears to imitate a hood on his head.

"Wait, so does this Raichu belong to...?"

"Hey buddy, brought some Poke Puffs and Beans for all of you guys!" the girl with the hood said as she approached Raichu. Raichu's ears twitch and he jumps in joy. She looks over at Ash and Pikachu, "Thank you for keeping him company, I was iffy on letting him find our seat but he kept insisting," she giggled.

Ash felt a blush creep onto his cheeks, but he was oblivious.

"No problem!" he smiled, "I'm Ask Ketchum from Pallet Town, and this is my buddy Pikachu!"

"Pikachu!" Pikachu said with a paw up.

"I'm Aviana, but everyone calls me Avi. And this is my Raichu." she introduced.

"Rai Rai!" Raichu said while proudly tapping his chest. Pikachu sent him a little shock and Raichu returned it, resulting in both of them laughing together.

"I'm glad Raichu made a friend..." Avi smiled.

"Same here, Pikachu and I love meeting new people," Ash agreed, "So where are you from?"

"I was born in Hoenn, but I've been moving a lot with the family for a few years and we just settled here in Kanto," she replied, "But I've yet to see the house since I just came back from my journey in Sinnoh."

"I've been to Sinnoh! I just came back from Kalos last week actually," Ash said.

"Kalos is my second home, I have a cousin from there that I usually stay with but she's been travelling with some friends trying to become Kalos Queen last time I heard," she said, trailing off and looking out to the battle fields.

"Really? Who's your cousin? I might know her..."

"Serena?"

"I was just travelling with her! No wonder your hair color looked familiar," Ash laughed.

"Small world huh...?" Avi questioned.

"Yeah, it sure is..."

"Rai, Raichu!" Raichu exclaimed angrily. Avi looked at him and he was drooling over a Poke Puff she was holding. She giggled, "Okay you machine, I'm sorry I made you wait!" she handed him the Poke Puff and Raichu happily sat and ate in peace.

"Hey, not trying to be nosy, but I saw you fighting with someone earlier and I got a bit worried..." her expression dropped completely.

"... He's the reason I entered in this tourney... His name is Legend... and he's nothing but evil... his Pokemon are trained to kill and that's what he plans on doing in this tourney... He plans on starting here and making his way up, deeming if Pokemon won't give it their all in battles, why even battle...? He sees battles as survival of the fittest and want to get rid of all weak Pokemon... I hope I can get dibs on battling him first so I can knock him out and save the Pokemon here..." she says, looking to to the other Pokemon that are inside the stadium.

"... That's horrible... He should be stopped.. Avi, I got your back on this and will do whatever it takes to help you save the other Pokemon and stop Legend..."

Avi smiled, "Thank you Ash..."
