Chapter 3_sometimes crashes are good

"Uuuuuggggghhhhh" I say in a tired voice. I through my stuff down by the door and go to the kitchen to get an AriZona tea " hi sweetie" I hear my mother say from the next room " if you don't mind can you run out and get some cough medicine I'm not feeling very well" I hear my mother say in a sniffly voice "ok" I shout back to her "I'll be back in a bit" I say. I finish my AriZona and through it away I grab my penny bored and slide my snap back back on my head. I go down the steps and pick up my pace through my penny board on the ground and hop on. I cruse all the way down to Walmart and stop my board at the entrance, I walk in grab the medicine pay and get out I hop on my penny bored again and it's starting to get dark out so I pick up my pace; while still in the Walmart parking lot I feel my phone go off I pull it out if my pocket and read the text it says

To: Lilly

"Hey gggguuuurrrrllllll sorry I could't talk earlier my mom said she would ground me if I got in trouble one more time with Mr. Thatcher"

I was about to respond when I ran into something or someone." What the heck" I yelled looking over and seeing Jc flat on his back "wow I'm so sorry I didn't see you there" I said kind of worried, he got up quickly after he saw me and said "you know they should make a law against skating and texting" he said sarcastically, I giggled and so did he " hi, I'm Jc" he said while helping me to my feet, "hi I'm Lilly, aren't you friends with my brother, Jacob?" "Yeah, I thought I've seen you before" he said in a normal tone of voice "I'm really sorry about that " I said with some sorry in my voice " it's ok, really" he seemed kind of pissed of at himself for running into me. I brush myself off and look up to see his eyes set on me. "Hey umm would it be possible if I could have your number" he said I had a shocked look on my face like what's going on and it slowly turned into a smile I said "sure!" maybe a little to excitedly, he answered back "Great!" and handed me his phone. I typed it in with a big smile and gave it back "thanks" he said in a happy voice "hey you want me to drive you home it's the least I could do for running into you" he said "sure" I said back without hesitation. "c'mon" he said "this way" he showed me to his car and I hopped into the passenger seat I felt surprised at the way he acted when I ran into him with his reputation he would have punched me in the face but he didn't he seemed kind of pleased when he saw me. He went around the car to his seat and jumped in too. On the way home we didn't say much I broke the silence by saying "nice car" I said it a little to sharply and a little to quickly that I made him jump a little. "thanks" he said, after those words were spoken it went silent again I was finally with the boy I had a little crush on and we barley even talked, I felt like he was a little nervous about something. Once we got to my house I was a little relived. Once I leaved, the silence and awkwardness would go away and I could just up to my room and go on twitter, my usual routine. I was gathering my things and he hopped out of his side of the car went around and opened the door for me "thanks" I said "you are welcome lovely lady" he said I blushed a little looked down at the ground. "hey since tomorrow is Saturday you wanna hang out sometime" he said with a smile "yeah I would love that" I felt like all that time sitting in awkward silence was worth it, after that it went silent again and I broke it by saying my goodbye he said goodbye back and I walked up to the front door waving goodbye him.
