A/N: I so didn't get the title from a Britney Spears song. Anyway, I recently read the most amazing novel ever and it gave me the idea to this fanfic. It's similiar yet very different but the novel is "Pretty Bad Things" by C.J Skuse. It's a pretty cool book c; But I brought my obsession with books and my obsession with Shoey together and got...this. xD Anyway, I seriously hope you guys like this idea :) Thanks for reading <3 - I will update this like I update "The Shoey Diaries." - Okay, without further ado...

Chapter 1 - Bonnie & Clyde
* Shane's POV *
"Joey Graceffa and his alleged Lover, Sawyer Hartman, have just committed yet another crime. What is this, the 12th one? They robbed a bank on the outskirts of Long Beach, will they hit our city next?"
Dumbass News people. Dumbass cops. Can't they see the message Joey and Sawyer were trying to project? They were showing that they can beat the system; That they can beat society. I actually hoped they robbed Long Beach. Maybe then I could get a chance to see Joey..
My mom said I was obsessed. I watch everything with Joey in it. Read everything with Joey in it (And I don't even read). I know a lot about him and I don't even know him. Is it possible to be in love with someone you've never even met? I also happened to know Joey and Sawyer weren't lovers. They used to be roommates. Then they decided they were done with bullshit. Others say they lost their minds. They were my age, in high school. The only difference was they were emancipated. If I were emancipated, I wouldn't have to put up with my dad's abuse any longer.
Anyway, Joey and Sawyer were just friends. They robbed a local Froyo store in their town and then went on the run, robbing little stores all along the way. Now they were up to robbing jewelry stores and banks. I don't see how the idiot cops haven't caught them yet. I mean, I didn't want them to get caught but they adorned the same attire at every robbery. And they all went the same way. Cops we're stupid. I turned up the TV. My dad wasn't home, probably at a bar somewhere, so my siblings, my mom, and I were trying to enjoy this while we could. "Sawyer and Joey are like present day Bonnie and Clyde's. We could call them Bonnie and Clyde, right? Considering.." The blonde news reporter trailed off, looking at her partner. Bitch. She was going to make some sexuality joke, wasn't she? I changed the TV to a different channel before she got the chance.
Just then I heard the front door creak open and turned to see my drunken dad stumble in. My mom cursed silently under her breath from the kitchen and I heard my brothers instantly go quiet upstairs. My dad walked up behind me and hit me hard on the shoulder. "Turn the TV off, Champ." He snarled, alcohol roiling off of his breath. I switched off the TV, trying to control my shuddering. He terrified me even more when he called me "champ" than when he called me bad things. "How was your day, huh?" He patted my cheek, but it felt like a slap. "Look at me when I'm talking to you, faggot!" I instinctively turned and looked at him. I just hoped he would leave my mom and brothers alone. Even if he hurt me to where I no longer wanted to live at least they were fine. I sometimes wondered why my mom put up with his shit. But when he was beating me, I knew why. He was ruthless. I couldn't imagine the pain my mom was suffering, though. She wouldn't have married him like this...He was different once. I bet it hurt to think about who he used to be. I didn't have time to dwell on the subject any longer because his palm connected with my cheek once again, harder this time. "Get your ass off my couch, Champ." I stood up quickly, hardly feeling the sting on my face. I was used to this kind of stuff. In fact, I was used to worse. I could tell he drank too much because once he flopped back on the couch, his eyes fluttered closed. Maybe he'd pass out for a few days and we could be free. My mom had tears in her eyes when I walked past and she whispered, almost inaudible, "I'm so sorry." I shrugged and just made my way upstairs. I couldn't blame her. It wasn't her fault that he was an animal. As soon as I walked into my brother and I's room I fell back on my bed and ignored my brother's prying eyes. I shut my own, and hoped I dreamed of joining Joey and Sawyer on their intricate crimes.
* Joey's POV *
"Get your fucking head in it, Joey." Sawyer commanded just as we swung open the SUV's doors and marched for the back entrance of the bank. This was our biggest crime yet! We'd be on the news ten minutes, if not earlier, after the crime was reported. I still didn't completely understand why we did these horrible things. It was Sawyer's crazy idea; Back when we were normal. I loved him and he knew I'd do anything for him. But as our fame evolved and Sawyer got more and more power hungry, I was more scared of him than I was in love with him. I couldn't ditch him either. He'd make it seem like I was the one behind all of this. Like he was just along for the ride. He'd get sentenced but I'd probably be sentenced for life. Sawyer was just that smart. Busting in the door, Sawyer held up his gun. The bank seemed to be empty. It didn't even seem like a night-guard was on duty. They were making it too easy. Storming in, Sawyer checked behind the desk and tossed me a ring of keys. He readjusted his handkerchief over his face. We both always wore black clothing, toboggans, and handkerchiefs to cover our mouth and nose. Once I had the key ring in my hand, I searched for the first key for the first vault. I had a feeling the vaults had alarms on them for after hour purposes so as soon as I unlocked the vault, we had to be quick. As I found the right key and unlocked the vault, and a familiar alarm screeched overhead, adrenaline kicked in and everything else was a blur. The last thing I remember was shoveling money into our bags. It was like some monster overtook me and controlled my body while I watched from a distance. I hated it.
"Joey, count the damn money!" I was back. Sawyer was driving as fast as he could into Long Beach. "Okay, I'm going!" Was my hazy reply. Fingering through the bills, I got a sick feeling in my stomach. Sawyer couldn't know just how much I resented him for making me do this. So I faked a smirk and stated, "Twenty Grand. We did good for our first successful bank robbery. Nice job, Partner in Crime." Sawyer glanced at me, mischief filling his eyes. "Once we get settled, I'll have to find a way to repay you." I knew what he meant. After every robbery, he "repayed" me in sex. I didn't exactly mind, but it would've been better if we were both still in love with each other. People had referred to us as a current-day Bonnie and Clyde...I wish that were the case.
