I yelled. It felt like someone was trying to strangle my hurt leg.

I immediately sat up, realizing I was in some kind of hospital thingy and Grover and some tan guy with blonde hair were looking at me with startled expressions on their faces. I knew I was in an infirmary of some sort, I just didn't know where. Then all the memories started flooding back. The taxi driver, almost getting eaten by the taxi driver, and rolling down a hill with Percy.

I must be in that safe place Percy and Grover were talking about. I thought.

"Uhh, Hi Wendy."

I looked over and saw the blonde guy smiling at me all friendly-like. He cleary didn't know a single thing about me.

"Do not call me Wendy. Unless you have a death wish or something." I said. I usually tried to be friendly to new people that I met, but when they started off a conversation with calling me Wendy, that was just too much.

The blonde kid and I just glared at each other until Grover interrupted our silent fight.

"Ummm, Wednesday, this is Jason Blake. He's gonna fix your ankle."

"There's nothing wrong with it. Where's Percy?"

"Geez, pushy much?" said Jason with a smirk playing on his lips.

"Oh, shut up, you. And don't ever try to strangle my leg again, because I will shove my foot so far up your-"

"Um, you know what, how about I get Will to come down here and take care of your ankle?" said Grover.

"Okay, one more time, Grover; There. Is. Nothing. Wrong. With. My. Ankle!"

"Fine. You can limp all the way to the Big House, you are just being way too difficult!" and with that happy thought, Grover left. Jason followed him, looking back to glare at me one more time.

I was in a very bad situation. I didn't know where I was, and one of my best friends was mad at me, and I had no idea where the other one was. I didn't mean to be difficult, I guess I just had one of those kind of personalities.

But I have the curse of being eternally optimistic, which is why I decided to find Percy on my own.

When I tried to stand up, I almost fell down again. The pain in my ankle made me dizzy and light headed, but I was determined to find Percy, so I set off out the door.

As I walked outside, I saw kids doing all sorts of activities. There were some making stuff out of metal, some sword fighting or shooting bows and arrows, and there were even a few kids climbing a rock wall with lava creeping up it.

As much as I would have liked to, I didn't stop and talk to these kids about any of the stuff. I was on a mission.

*About 45 minutes later*

As I walked through a clearing in the woods, I came upon a big lake with a dock. The pain in my ankle was finally getting the better of me, so I decided to sit down and resume my quest for finding Percy later.

As I sat down, guess who walked around the corner; yep. Percy I'm-so-busy-I-can't-even-be-bothered-to-check-up-on-my-best-friend-who-even-though-she-denies-it-has-a-hurt-ankle Jackson. Walking and talking with a pretty blonde girl.

I leaped up and ran as fast as I could toward him, yelling

"PERCY JACKSON! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER FOR YOU!"

His face lit up as he saw me, and opened his arms for a hug.

I saw him all right, I just couldn't stop in time. I ran right into him, literally tackling him in a hug.
