Percy's P.O.V.

I read Luke's note four times before it finally sank in; Luke had captured Wednesday and if I wasn't there in ten days he was gonna kill her. I was so mad; mad at Luke for capturing her {me: well no duh you're mad at him!}, mad at Chiron for making me go to that stupid meeting (if I hadn't gone, Luke would've never been able to get her alone), and mad at myself for ever suggesting she stay in my cabin; he would totally know where she would be. I felt like punching something; preferably Luke's face. I swear, if he layed one finger on her, I would kill him.

Kathryn interrupted my thoughts by walking up and grabbing the note from me. She read it, and her face grew very pale. She put it down on the bed and turned around and spoke to Chiron.

"I think Percy should be able to go rescue Wednesday. He is her best friend, after all."

"Ye-"

"No!" Annabeth said, cutting me off.

"Percy can't go save her, he would be playing right into Luke's hands! It's exactly what he wants!"

"But Annabeth, we can;t just do nothing. When have you ever turned down a camper in need of help?" I asked.

"When that camper happened to be the girl who gets all of your attention. The girl you hang out with more than me. When that camper happened to be Wednesday Evans." she said before turning and running away.

"I can't believe she just said that!" I said, shocked.

"Well she does have a point. You have been spending a lot of time with Wendy." said Travis knowingly.

"Don't-don't call her Wendy." I told him. By now the only people left in my cabin were Kathryn, Travis, Chiron, Grover and I.

Chiron, as if reading my mind, looked at me and said

"If you like, Percy, you may choose two campers to go find Ms. Evans with you. You shall leave in the morning."

"Thank you Chiron."

*Later That Night*

As I lay in my bed looking at the ceiling I couldn't help but think of Wednesday. I was too stressed out to sleep, but somehow I did anyway. And I almost wish I hadn't. Because I had a dream. A very suckish demigod dream.

*Percy's Dream*

I was on a ship; I didn't know why, but I had a vauge idea. I looked around and saw a girl pacing back and forth in what appeared to be a jail cell. She was tapping the back wall, checking for a possible escape route. I walked up to the bars and looked closely at the girl; it was Wednesday! I tried to call out to her, tell her that I was coming to get her soon and that everything was gonna be okay. She didn't notice me. Then it hit me; this wasn't a dream-it was a vision.

There wasa noting I could do to help her, so I stood back and watched as she heard footsteps, then sat down with her back against the wall with her arms and legs crossed. She watched calmly as an empousa came down and opened he door to her cage.

"Luke wantsss to have a word with you." it said.

It grabbed Wednesday by the upper arm with it's claws when she did not get up. I saw her wince slightly when the empousa grabbed her; it let go, and small drops of blood formed where the claws had cut into her skin.

It led her up a few flights of stairs to a cement room with a steel chair in the middle. The empousa forced her into it, then strapped her wrists and ankles down.

As the empousa left, LUke came in. He stood in front of WEdnesday, looking down at her and smiling. As she looked up at him her eyes narrowed in hatred, but she was smart enough not to say anything.

"Sooo... Let's start with something simple; what's your name?" he asked. Wednesday looked at him, still not saying anyhthing.

"Whatever. I don't care anyway. Did Percy tell you anything about the meeting he attended?"

Still not a word.

Luke frowned. "Hmm... Maybe you just need a nudge in the right direction. Luckily for you, I can be very-ah-persuesive." he said, all of a sudden swooping down and kissing her on the mouth. She struggled, trying to get away, but the empousa had bound her too tight. So, she did the first thing that came to mind.

Luke suddenly leaped back, his hand over his mouth.

"THAT LITTLE *censored*! SHE BIT MY LIP!" he yelled, looking at Wednesday, who was spitting out blood.

With a look of pure hatred on his face, he walked over to Wednesday and slapped her across the face, hard.

I wanted to scream, I was beyond angry. Every fiber of my being was telling me to go beat the crap out of him.

Two more empousa came in and took Wednesday back to her cell. When they got there, they threw her in and slammed the door.

They left, and it was dark. There was still enough light to see Wednesday in the corner, curled up with her knees to her chest. She leaned her head back on the wall behind her and closed her eyes. I could se a bruise forming on her cheek where Luke had slapped her. She heaved a shaky sigh, and a single tear slid down her cheek.

"Please hurry, Percy. PLease." she whispered into the darkness, her eyes still closed.

I woke up when I felt my heart break.
