*Still Percy's P.O.V.*

When I woke up the sun was high in the sky and Wednesday was nowhere to be found. I got up and started walking toward the water. I didn't bother to look for her; she would turn up eventually.

"Hey Percy." I heard from behind me. See?

I smiled. "Hey. Where have you been?" I asked.

"Oh, you know.... Places." she said, smirking at me.

"Oh really?" I said smirking right back.

"Yes, really. I-"

She didn't get to finish- I saw a shimmer behind her shoulder...... Someone was trying to Iris-message us!

I ran toward it, grabbing her hand and pulling her behind me as I went. I heard her say my name in an annoyed voice, but I just ignored her for now.

"Hello? Grover? Chiron? Anybody? Hellooooo!" I said impatiently into the shimmer.

It was a few minutes before I saw Grover's face appear.

"Percy! Where the heck are you?" he asked.

"Wednesday and I have been on this little island for like 12 hours.... We must've gotten, like, carried by the current here after we fell off the ship."

"FELL?! More like you grabbed me and freaking JUMPED!!!" yelled Wednesday. Grover and I grinned and rolled our eyes.

"So do you have any brilliant ideas for getting us back to camp, Mr. I-Leave-A-Rescue-Mission-To-Save-A-Girl-I-Barely-Know?" I asked him. He blushed.

"I'll send Blackjack... He'll know where to find you." Grover replied before swiping his hand through the mist.

I turned around with a huge smile on my face.

"Finally... It took him long enough..." said Wednesday.

"By the way, who IS Blackjack?" she asked as I moved to sit beside her on the sand.

"Well, I guess you could say he's a friend of mine." I told her.

*A Few Minutes Later*

Wednesday and I decided to make sand castles while we were waiting for Blackjack. To me it seemed like he was taking forever. I kind of admired Wednesday's unexpected patience.

"Did you hear that?" she asked suddenly. I turned around just in time to see Blackjack land on the soft sand, folding his wings to his body.

"Blackjack!" I yelled. "Finally!!!" he whinnied back and I rubbed his nose while talking with him telepathically.

"Is this Blackjack?" asked Wednesday.

"Yep. He's also our ride home!" I told her, smiling.

"Wow... This is... Wow." she said, also smiling.

I helped her onto Blackjack, ignoring his telepathic comments about... Well I'm sure you can guess.

Once we were safely on his back, he took off into the sky and we started our long journey back to camp. With both Wednesday and I on his back, it took a little while longer to get back to camp.

Wednesday had a blast riding through the air, stretching her arms out and throwing her head back, laughing loudly. I had to hurriedly grab her waist more than a few times so she wouldn't fall off. After about an hour or so of riding on his back, we saw the camp and were greeted by a relieved Grover and a beaming Chiron.

Wednesday slid off of Blackjack's back and hugged Grover. Chiron pulled me aside and said to meet him in the Big House and bring Wednesday after we got changed and everything. I told him I would, and went and brought her back to the cabin to change. I told her what Chiron told me. She nodded and walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

I sat on my bed and dozed off for a few minutes, then woke up in time to see her come out of the bathroom smiling, wrapped in a towel and with dripping wet hair. She got dressed as I walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

*Wednesday's P.O.V.*

I got dressed in black skinny jeans and a blue t-shirt, and blow dried my hair, pulling it back in a cute-messy ponytail. I put socks and my favorite gray converse on and sat down in my hammock to wait for Percy. He emerged like 20 minutes later with a towel around his waist and no shirt. I stifled a laugh... His stomach was so white! He looked over at me weird.

"What?" he asked, half smiling.

"Nothing..." I said, biting my lip and shaking from silent laughter.

"No tell me!" he said, a grin starting to spread across his face.

"Ok fine... Just get dressed first, then ask me later. I don't want to be late for whatever Chiron is planning." I told him, knowing that he would forget.

I watched as he went back into the bathroom to get dressed, then went over to the desk and pulled out a pencil from the drawer and started drawing.

*Ten Minutes Later*

*Still Wednesday's P.O.V.*

I was sitting between Percy and Will at a table in the Big House, and we were all waiting for Chiron. Pretty much every cabin leader was there; Percy sat next to Annabeth, who sat next to Katie Gardner from the Demeter cabin, Travis and Connor Stoll from Hermes cabin, Charles Beckendorf (whom everybody called Beckendorf, I later learned) from the Hephaestus cabin, Sophia Jacobs, head of the Hectate cabin, Clairisse from the Ares cabin, and Danny Campbell, a blond, pale boy from the Aphrodite cabin, who I had never met before, but he seemed pretty ok to me.

I was bored with nothing to do, as Percy was in deep conversation with Annabeth, Travis and Connor were trying to throw wads of paper into the mounted leopard's mouth on the wall, and Katie was arranging a group of flowers in Sophia's hair. I started tapping out the drum part to Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People with my fingers on the table. Will, who was sitting next to me, began to absentmindedly hum the melody. I smiled to myself and stopped. It seemed like it was kind of a reflex for him, since he was a son of Apollo. He looked over and grinned at me.

"That was really good. Are you a drummer?" he asked.

"Well, not really... I know how to play the drums, but I don't really do it all the time... Basically just when I go to the music store, they let me practice on the drum set in the back room sometimes. My uncle is the owner." I told him.

"That's so cool! I don't know how to play the drums myself, but I'm pretty good at guitar and I've been told my singing's not half bad... Hey, would you be interested in playing in a small concert here at camp this weekend? It would just be for a couple hours, and our drummer's sick. We could meet up sometime and practice a few songs." Will said.

"Um... I'd love to, sure! It sounds like a lot of fun."

"Awesome!" he said enthusiastically.

"So, who else is in the band?" I asked. I wanted to know more about this.

"Well, I'm the guitarist/occasional lead singer, our other guitar player is Travis, the lead singer is usually my sister Ella, I don't know if you've met her... But our base player is Matthew Ferguson from the Hectate cabin, and the drummer is Owen Montgomery, also from Hectate cabin. He wasn't quite fast enough on the lava rock wall, and well... I think you can pretty much guess the rest." he explained. I grimaced. Poor Owen.

Just then, Chiron came in and a deathly silence fell over the room.
