The team stood silently in the small room. The room had a few monitors on a desk, a VCR and some chairs, very minimal. Sara and Jax sat in the chairs, Snart sat on the desk, and Kendra and Rip started pacing.

"This was not part of the plan," Rip muttered, shaking his head.

"I don't think we're gonna have a chance to catch Savage now," Kendra said.

"Look, obviously this wasn't part of the plan, nobody planned on running into Snart's past, and now Savage is long gone. So suck it up. We have to make a new plan, it's called 'getting out of here,'" Sara said, standing up and looking at Rip and Kendra.

Silence fell amungst them as they all soaked in what she had said.

"You're right," Rip said quietly, looking up at Sara, "I'm sorry."

"Hey, don't apologize to me, I'm not the one who you just called their life unimportant," she said, raising an eyebrow at him.

"What, I didn't-"

"You didn't have to say it verbatim, but you just casually ignored it and treated it like a small annoyance that got in your way," she said crossing her arms, leaving Rip standing there, open mouthed.

Closing his mouth, and straightening his back he said, "Well, I am sorry Mr. Snart, I had no intention of-"

"Forget about it," Snart said, picking at something on the desk, "Let's just get out of here."

"Agreed," Rip said turning back to the door. He tried to turn the nob, but it wouldn't budge. He shoved it, but still the door was stuck.

"He must have put something in front of it, blocking the door path," Rip said, studying the door, trying to find some sort of trick to opening it.

"Here's an idea," Jax said from his seat, "Why don't we just call Stein and Ray?"

Rip looked up at Jax, smacking himself in the forehead, "Brilliant, I am so stupid. You, my friend, are brilliant," He said, pointing at Jax.

Quickly, he touched his com. device, "Ray? Professor?"

"Yes?" they both responded in sync.

"We have a small problem, we might all be locked in the surveillance room."

"Wow, I'm on my way. Detective Palmer is on the case!" Ray said, a little too happily.

  "Great," Rip responded, awkwardly.

"I suppose I will stay here and keep an eye on things, then," Stein said.

"Well, we'll be in the surveillance room waiting," Rip said, clicking his earpiece off.

And with that, Rip sat down on the floor, his back against the door, and looked at his team, Kendra quietly leaning on the wall, looking at her hands. Jax sitting in a chair, leaning forward on his knees, looking down at the floor. Sara sitting in the other chair leaning her head on her hand, looking at the ground, sneaking glances as Snart. And Snart, Leonard Snart, sitting on the desk, holding his arms around his knee that he had pulled up onto the desk with him, starring off into space, wandering through his mind with a solemn look on his face.

His team, brought to silence.

"Knock, knock," a familiar voice said from the door.

The team looked up at the door, as a large clattering came from behind the door. Finally, the door finally opened and Ray poked in his smiling head to the room.

Sensing the tension in the room, his smile suddenly dropped, "What's going on?" he asked.

"Nothing, just, glad you got here," Rip said, standing up.

"Alright, well let's go then," Ray said slowly, opening the door the rest of the way.
