"Good morning, Mr. Snart," Gideon's voice echoed through the man's ears.

Looking up into the blinding light around him, the man rubbed the sleep out of his eyes.

Slowly, everything came back to him as he felt his whole body ache.

"What's goin' on Gideon?" He asked.

"You have an estimated hour left of the healing process with my assistance, but you wished me to wake you up now."

"Yeah, I remember that. What's left?"

"Well, Mr. Snart, your bones have mainly healed, but you may experience some intense aching, and I would recommend not putting any serious strain on anything, since they are not completely healed, it could lead to you reinjuring yourself."

"So I'm achey and shouldn't jump out of any moving trucks."

"To put simply, yes, I suppose."

"Great," he said, pushing himself up to a sitting position, feeling a surge of pain washing over him.

Grunting, he pushed his feet off the side of the medical chair, and hopped down to a standing position.

"Like I said, I high recommend you staying to allow me to finish the healing process. It would go by much quicker if you did so," Gideon advised.

"Well, like I said, I'll pass," Snart grumbled out, starting to walk out of the med bay on his unbalanced legs.

He took a few steps and made it to the doorway, but stopped and leaned on the doorframe, catching his balance.

"Woah," a familiar voice said from down the hall.

Looking up, Snart saw Kendra walking towards him.

"Need some help?" She asked, stopping in front of him.

"I see you're better," He said.

"Well, I wasn't as bad as you to begin with, since I didn't get up to walk around after I hit the ground," she said with a smirk.

"Smart thinking," He said sarcastically.

"Well, I do recall that you got up and saved my life," Kendra said, smiling lightly.

"Hmm, something like that."

"Thank you," Kendra said, looking to his eyes, "You might not be as bad a guy as I thought you were, I don't think I ever saw you in the thick of it before."

"Don't go soft on me now, Kendra," Snart said, rolling his eyes.

"Oh, right you're to cool to be a hero," Kendra said, a real smile forming, "You're a pretty good guy, Snart. I'm serious, thank you."

"Oh stop it, I'm blushing," Snart said, smirking.

"Oh, shut up," Kendra said laughing.

"Nice chat," Snart said, shoving himself off the wall and starting to stumble down the hall.

"Stop," Kendra said, crossing her arms.

"What," Snart grumbled.

"You saved my life, the least you could do is let me help you to your room," Kendra said, stepping over to him.
