"Hey, Rip, have you seen Sara anywhere?" Kendra asked, entering his office area.

"What? No, I've been in here all day..." Rip answered, half paying attention.

"Well, she was supposed to meet me for training, but she never showed up. So I checked her room, but she wasn't there either. I even checked the med bay, because I saw her sitting in there once when Snart was under."

Rip looked up from his studies. "Where is Sara? That is a good question," he said, getting up from  his desk.

"Do you have any idea where she might be?" he asked, heading out towards the halls.

"No, that's why I came to ask you. I would have thought she might be hanging with Snart, but he's been asleep in his room since yesterday."

"Do you know that he's asleep?"

"Well, I didn't open his door and check, but he hasn't come out or opened the door since he went in yesterday."

Rip slowed his pace, coming to a halt outside of Snart's door.

"Do you want to check or shall I?" Rip said, looking at his door.

"I have no intention of being frozen on the spot, so you can go ahead."

Slowly, Rip took a step closer to Snart's door.

"You know, he's probably asleep, we shouldn't bother  him..."

"Oh, no. It was your idea, we're going through with it now," Kendra said, blocking his path from turning away from the door.

"Oh, fine..."

He took a deep breath, and slowly, he reached for the handle.

Looking up at Kendra before continuing, he began to slowly turn the knob. He turned it the whole way, until it wouldn't turn anymore, and then gently pushed the door open a crack.

He peaked in the doorway, but couldn't see anything in the dark.

Furrowing his brow, he opened the door some more, and saw Snart's bed, empty.

"That's weird," he muttered, opening the door the rest of the way.

"Oh," Kendra said, looking in the room.

Looking in, they saw Snart, fast asleep on the floor, propped up against the wall,  and Sara, completely unconscious across from him on the floor. Cards were strewn between them.

"I found Sara," Rip whispered.

"But it's  the middle of the afternoon, how can they still be asleep?" Kendra asked quietly, confusion all over her.

"When you're tired, sometimes you could sleep for days. Especially if you haven't been able to sleep peacefully in a long time."

"I think we should let them sleep then," Kendra said decidedly.

"I think I'm going to agree with you on this," Rip said, slowly stepping back into the hall and quietly closing the door back behind him.

"Hey, what's going on?" A loud, enthusiastic voice called down the hall.

"Shhh!" Kendra hushed him.

"What?" Ray whispered to her.

"Snart's asleep," Kendra whispered back.

"Oh," he answered, nodding, "So why are you going into his room?"

"We weren't," Rip said, "We were looking for Sara."

"Ok. In Snart's room?"

"I checked everywhere else," Kendra explained.

"Oh, and what did you find?"

"Well we found Sara," Rip said.

"Wait, wait, wait... Like Snart and Sara? Like together?"

"No, " Kendra answered, shaking her head, "They fell asleep."

"I don't get it..."

"Just look," Rip said, slowly reopening the door wide enough to see in.

"Oh... Gotcha."
