Kendra looked back and forth between Snart and his father, finally putting the pieces together.

"I thought you were in jail," Lewis said to his son.

"I thought you were too," Leonard quietly said.

"Well, what are you doing here?" Lewis said, chuckling as he reached to pat Leonard on the shoulder, but Leonard backed out of his reach, so he retracted his hand.

"What are you doing here?" Leonard countered, eyeing his father.

"Well, I was doing an old friend a favor, but it looks like a family matter got in the way," he answered, chuckling a little.

"Look, I think we better scram, man, the police are on their way..." The man named Bert interrupted.

"Don't interrupt me!" Lewis yelled, anger rising in his eyes as he turned towards his partner.

"Whatever..." Bert said, rolling his eyes.

"I think your partner's right, you better get going," Leonard said, glancing at Kendra.

"Well, come on then, I didn't see any ride that could get you out of here without getting caught," Lewis said, starting to walk away and signalling for Snart to follow.

"I don't think I'll be joining you. Sorry," Leonard said, staying still in his spot.

"I don't think I was asking you," Lewis said, narrowing his eyes at him.

"Let me rephrase, I'm not coming with you," Leonard said, matching his father's glare.

"Right..." Lewis said, and started to turn around to leave, when he suddenly spun back around and hooked Leonard right in the jaw, sending him spinning onto the floor. Kendra sucked in her breath.

"Now get up and come on."

Leonard grunted and pushed himself up off the floor, but sneakily caught Kendra's eye. Com. Rip. He mouthed to her as he turned back to face his father.

He felt something wet on his face, so he wiped it with his hand, finding that he was bleeding slightly.

"Anything else you want to rephrase?" Lewis said, glaring at him.

"No."

"Good. Ice his lady friend," Lewis said to Bert.

"My pleasure," Bert said, smiling.

"She's coming," Leonard said, stepping in between Kendra and Bert.

"Son, just leave her and come on," Lewis said impatiently.

"She's coming," Leonard repeated, returning the stare he was getting from his father.

They all stood tensely, waiting to see who would move first.

Finally, Lewis broke eye contact, "Fine, whatever. Just hurry up," he said, spinning around to finally leave. Bert followed his partner's lead and turned to leave.

"What are you doing?" Kendra whispered to Leonard as they started following.

"Trying to keep us alive," he responded, keeping his eyes glued on the two men ahead of him.

"Well, what do we do?"

"Just trust me and do what I say."

Quickly, he put his finger to his ear and whispered into his com. "Can't talk. We're being taken. It's my dad," Then he quickly turned his com. off and took it out of his ear, putting it in his pocket.

"What are you doing?" Kendra asked as she saw him put it in his pocket.

"If they see them, we're dead. As much as they know is that I was in the middle of a job. Best to keep it that way."

Quickly, Kendra followed his lead and took her com. out of her ear and put it  into her pocket.

"This is crazy," She whispered.

The rest of the way they followed in silence as they followed the men down halls and turns and stairs until they were in the parking lot. They could hear the sirens in the distance as followed them to a utility van.

Bert slid the door open, and signaled them to get in. Slowly, Leonard and Kendra climbed into the back. Then Bert climbed in and pulled his gun out, pointing it at them both.

"Don't try anything stupid," He said as he pulled zipties out of his pocket.

He shoved them down onto the floor of the van and ziptied their hands behind them.

"One more thing..." he said standing up, then he slapped Kendra across the face. Leonard yanked against his restraints, glaring at him.

"That was for punching me earlier. That hurt."

"Don't you know any manners," Leonard muttered.

"What'dchu say?" Bert yelled, dropping down, inches from Snart's face.

"I said, It's rude to hit a woman, but there's an exception because it was you," he answered slyly, a smirk sliding on his face.

Bert yelled and punched him in the face, sending his head smashing into the side of the van.

Snart started laughing quietly.

"You think it's funny?" Bert yelled, and kicked him in the gut, making him lurch forward.

"Would you just get up here already?" Lewis yelled from the driver's seat.

"Yeah, I'm comin'," Bert said, climbing out of the back, slamming the slide door shut, and climbing into the passenger seat.

"The cops are on their way," Lewis said, as he cranked the van and pulled out of the parking lot.
