You think you know a lot of people, but it's only when you venture out into the big world, that you realize you are a tiny dot on the earth. Shine, be you, and don't let perfection get to your head. Nobody's perfect so when other people tell you that you are not perfect don't listen to them. If they can't overlook your mistakes in life than you shouldn't waste your time listening to them talk about how bad you are. Believe you are good, have someone be there for you, and then that is when you are as perfect as you can be.

Kate POV

'What in the world are you carrying in that ugly cooler?' I ask Robert as I spot him in the hallway.

"I've done it! Nobody has found the turkey and now all I have to do is hand this back over to Principal Marran and I will be free of You."

'You...as in the turkey's name right?' I question as I stuff my biology homework into its rightful folder.

"Yep!" He replies with an enthusiastic smile on his face. "Principal Marran!" He shouts as he runs down the hall lagging the heavy turkey in the ugly cooler. "Nobody found the turkey!" A handful of applauds mixed with 'him?' ran through the claustrophobic hallway.

"Hey Kate!" Veronica greets as she makes her way through the sea of people.

'What's up?' I greet while slinging my book bag onto my back and picking up my violin.

"OMG! So, yesterday while I was working on my math homework the doorbell rang, so like any other person I went to answer the door. When I got to the door I saw Greg standing there in a buttoned up shirt."

So that's where he went, I thought to myself.

"He asked me if I could help him on some of the math questions and I said sure, why not. So I let him in and we did our homework together in my room. Fast forward a couple hours later and he asks me if I would like to go get something to eat. So we went out to the coffee shop across the street and talk and talk. He's really interesting you know! We walked back to my house and he asks me if I would like to go out with him. When I ask why, he said I was cute, interesting and more than a pretty face. Can you believe it!!!! Greg Harrison thinks I'm CUTE!!!! OMG, OMG!

'That's amazing!' I say smiling while sitting down at my desk in homeroom.

"I know right! Do you mind coming over to my house tonight and helping me pick out a dress?" She asks.

'Sure! I can't wait!' I exclaim then say 'here' as my teacher calls out my name for attendance.

"So, what do you think?" Veronica asks me as she tries on a pale green dress with a black buckle on the side.

I stare at her in shock. 'Why are you wearing a dress? You never wear a dress. Not to homecoming or your date with Michael or on picture day.'

"Well, Greg is the boy who asked me out and he's so hot! Also, I need to give him a good impression. I don't want him to think I'm some weird girl who mainly wears the color black and jeans and a t-shirt every day. Have you seen the girls he has dated? They all wear dresses, skirts, and cute clothing. I need to make myself stand out instead of just wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I need to look...special! He's also charming and smart and kind..."
