Falling in Love

Falling in Love

Tokyo had finally arrived. Preston had been dreaming about this day for the last year. As he thought about where he used to be and where he was now, he couldn't help but thank God. At his last games, he was on drugs which no one knew, he was doing terrible in the pool, and his life was falling apart. He was running women back and forth. It was just like high school Preston had returned. Shortly after is when he met Alexandria. The drugs and the drinking got worse, he treated her awfully, and then she surprised him with the news of Brayden that changed his life forever. He was truly a mess the last time he stepped into an Olympic arena, but now he felt like what he was about to do would be to make up for everything that happened four years prior.

Now, as he thought about his fiancée, his son, and his incredible predictions to place gold in all six of his races, Preston felt on top of the world. He couldn't believe that his entire life changed and he was actually doing it for the greater good. His son meant so much to him and he couldn't imagine losing him. At his last games, Preston was selfish and self centered. Having a child completely changed that for him. He also ran women every chance he got. He would bang anything with a pulse. He didn't care if it was another teammates girlfriend, a friend's wife, or whoever. He would have sex with you, and it was all because he was missing one person.

The moment Preston thought about her, he looked up to see Kayla smiling at him as they walked into the arena hand in hand with Brayden. No one but their small family and two security guards were around. He returned her smile and kissed her lips briefly as they looked around. He simply stopped by the pool and took a deep breath. He was ready. He owed it to both his son and his soon-to-be wife to make peace with his past and officially move on. It was more symbolic than anything, and Preston was determined to make both of them proud.
