Acceptance

"Jae-yah please eat your soup!" Haneul begged as he kept refusing to eat.

His fever was still rising, and he was becoming more pale.

It's not going to do anything if you just beg.

"Hannie, I'll take of this." I smiled reassuringly at her and she reluctantly stood up.

"I'm going to go back to class, call me if you need anything." She called as she walked to the door, putting on her shoes.

"Can you please collect my classes homework for me?" I called as she opened the door.

She nodded and closed the door behind her.

It's great having siblings.

We all look out for each other.

Well,

Haneul and I look out of each other and Jaeyong.

He's too weak to be able to live a normal life.

He's only nine, but his body is as frail as a ninety year-olds.

"Jae, please eat your soup." I spoke quietly as I neared his neatly made bed.

Haneul must have made him get up and walk around while she made his bed.

"I don't want to." He pouted.

Smiling a bit, I lifted the soup closer to his face but he shooed it away.

"Jae, please for me. Please for Haneul and mom and dad. They would be so proud of you for still fighting, just please eat. I need you to get stronger, I need you to keep fighting." My voice cracked a bit as I spoke with true emotion.

He looked up at me with a guilty face. He nodded slowly and got a hold of the soup.

"Thank you." I mumbled as I watched him eat it slowly.

Soon, he was done eating.

"Now Jae-yah, I have a treat for you!" I spoke excitedly as I reached for the desk beside his bed.

His eyes widened as he watched me closely looking to see what I was going to give him.

"Ajusshi Park gave me a free bag of treats to give to you!" I gave him the pouch.

He smiled widely as he accepted the pouch.

He's so cute,

This is the first time I've seen him smile like that for a while.

"Eat as much as you want." I chuckled as his cute actions.

"Thank you!" He screamed with a high pitch voice.

I walked out of his room and went to the living room.

Turning on the television, I watched the news.

"Breaking news: Another female has been abducted in the Daegu area. This is the third Kidnapping that has happened in the past two weeks."

I hope that the females are okay and safe.

"Why would someone do such a thing? Don't you they a heart?" I shook my head as I turned off the television.

Checking the time, I saw that it was only twelve o'clock and I had five hours left before Haneul would be coming back home from school.

"Jae-yah! I'm going to go out, if you need anything just call me." I shouted into his room.

He replied with a grunt and I sneaked a peek into his room only to find his indulged into the treats.

Walking out of the apartment, I just realized that I still had my school uniform on.

I should probably change out of it.

Sighing, I walked back in and quickly changed into comfortable clothes.
