I bid a farewell to the three girls and walked out of the cafe.

Without any second thoughts, I walked across the street towards the alley.

The shadow must be real,

I can't be imagining things.

Standing directly at the entrance of the alley, I stared.

It was completely black, I could not see anything farther than the trashcan nearby.

As I kept staring at nothing in particular, I noticed a pair of bright green eyes appear in the darkness.

My eyes bulged out of it's sockets as I stared at the eyes.

W-What is that?

My knees were trembling as I kept staring at it.

It did not move, it just continued to pierce me with it's alluring glares.

Without thinking, I ran away.

I ran towards the other direction of my home, towards the main city.

What did I just see?

Oh my god,

Am I dreaming?

Silently contemplating what I had just witnessed, I bumped into someone.

They seemed to be minimally affected by the bump but still turned around,

"Mianhae!" I bowed as many times as I could while not daring to look up at them.

"It's okay, you don't need to apologize." A deep voice chuckled.

Looking up, my eyes stopped at their light pink hair.

I didn't realize that I was making them uncomfortable with my gawking, so I looked down at the ground.

"May I ask, what's your name?" They hummed.

"Yang Haera." I awkwardly spoke without looking up at them.

"Nice to meet you Haera, my name is Kim Namjoon." He lifted his arm up for me to shake and I hesitantly took it.

Wait a minute, I've heard of that name before.

"Do you perhaps, know Yang Hyein?" I finally looked up at him.

He widened his eyes before smiling a bit.

"I do and perhaps, you are her cousin?" He beamed before breaking into a grin.

Well, her adopted cousin.

Smiling a bit myself, I nodded as a response.

So, he is the one that has been sent by my uncle to spy on her.

"She actually isn't known as that anymore, she's known as Song Jihye."

Oh?

She changed her name all of a sudden?

"Why?" I spoke confusedly.

"Just some...personal reasons."

It's about the game, isn't it.

"Well anyways I must go, but it was nice meeting you Yang Haera." He waved a farewell before walking to a black BMV parked nearby.

I continued to keep walking around the main city streets as it started to get darker.

My phone began to ring and I quickly answered the call.

"Where are you?" It sounded like Haneul.

"Just walking around the city." I spoke while not paying attention to where I was walking.

"Don't stay out for too long, it's getting dark and it's not safe to be outside." She advised.

"I know, see you." I chuckled before ending the call.

A loud car honk frightened me. Looking around, I realized that I had stopped dead walking on a intersection.

Quickly, I ran off to the other side of the road while still shaken up.

But, the car did not move. It stayed where it was, even though cars behind it were honking.

It pulled down its window from its passenger seat and I saw the same pair of green eyes.

They were staring me down.

Someone help me.
