It was already Monday today. Meaning, that it's been a week since I was told that I would be going to a new school, and Jaeyong's passing.
Haneul and I both walked to the same direction expect I would be taking a right, to my new school while she, would continue going straight.
"Good luck in your new school, remember be careful. Hwaiting!" She shouted as both of us walked away to our respected paths.
Smiling at her motivational words, I continued to walk and I passed by the alley.
Looking quickly at it, I saw nothing.
Sighing, I continued walking until I reached a place.
It was all white, with black rimmed windows and main door. The gate was also white, and it looked like a palace, not a school.
The gate read, "EXAC'T UNIVERSITY SCHOOL FOR SPIRITS AND MONSTERS"
Wait, did it just say spirits and monsters?
Gulping nervously I walked up to the gate and it opened without me having to do anything.
Why didn't I just run away from school so I wouldn't have to go here?
Why didn't I just run to Seoul?
Why didn't I just hide in my apartment for the remaining time I had of school left?
Contemplating my choices, I didn't notice that a figure stood in front of me.
It was a male, and he had beautiful features. He had a very defined jawline and his eyes were as sharp as knives.
His gaze was piercing me and I couldn't help but gawk at him.
"You must be the new student, Yang Haera. I'm Gong Yoo, the Principal of Exac't University." He spoke as he looked down at me.
Wait a minute, he isn't my age?
Screaming internally at my mistake, I bowed respectively to him while my face was turning red in embarrassment.
Never mind, I can't have a crush on him, he's too old for me.
"Let me show you around the school and show you your new classes." He motioned for me to follow him into the elegant school.
As we walked in, I couldn't help but open my mouth from shock.
It looked like a queen's and king's palace. The floor was matte black and the walls also. The halls were long and stretched far, while a long spiral case was placed in the middle of the long hall.
The main office was nowhere to be seen though.
"Where's the main office?" I asked curiously.
"We don't have one. There's no need for one when we have powers." He spoke in a tone that suggested that I asked a stupid question.
"Er okay." I spoke slowly.
"May I ask, what are your powers specifically?" He spoke as we neared the spiral stairs.
My eyes widened.
I don't have any.
"Uh," I spoke while looking around my surroundings.
"You are a Monster, right?" He spoke while gazing at me intently.
Nervously twiddling with my fingers, I looked at the ground.
He seemed to have gotten the answer from my reaction.
"Since you aren't one, just be careful. Especially if you ever come in contact with Kim Taehyung."
"Who?"
"A notorious student in this school. We've had many instances of our human students disappearing and evidence proves that he has somethings to do with them going missing."
"W-What does he look like?" I helplessly asked as I stayed glued in my spot.
"He has green eyes, dark chocolate brown hair, he's tall and has a small scar on his face." The Principal explained as he started walking up the stairs.
Why does that description remind me of the person from the alley?
