English class finally ended.

I didn't learn much though,

Just simple words, but enough for me.

Seungwan offered for me to sit with her in the canteen, I kindly accepted her offer.

She's so sweet, I'm still suspicious if she is actually a monster or not.

"Sit down in that table near the window, I'll go get us food." She informed me as she pointed to the white table that was placed directly in front of the window.

Walking slowly towards it, I noticed the scenery of the canteen.

It was pure white, something that would be in a mental hospital.

But if I do say so, it had beautiful chandeliers around the top ceiling with multiple lines for food in the front.

In total, the lunch room had at least 50 tables scattered around that barely touched the next table near it.

Sitting down, I looked closely at the students that flocked into the canteen.

One particular person caught my attention.

It was like everyone in the room suddenly stopped existing, they were invisible.

My eyes were set on them.

But wait,

He looks familiar.

Just as I was about to closely examine him, another voice interrupted me,

"Why are you staring at him?" Seungwan spoke as she put down our lunch.

Blinking a few times, I looked at the meal she brought me, normal school food, then back at the person.

"I- He looks familiar." I tried to form an actual sentence.

"The Kim Taehyung looks familiar to you?" She gasped in the middle of eating her rice.

Wait.

That's him?

"H-He's t-the one who supposedly kidnaps humans right?" I spoke while my fingers started to tremble a bit.

Seungwan nodded gravely.

Oh my god.

He, Kim Taehyung is he shadow that lives by my apartment.

He is the one who lives in the alley.

He is the one who I saw face to face in the playground.

He is the one who requested me into this school.

"Oh my god." I whispered barely audibly for anyone to hear.

"Haera, are you okay?" Seungwan asked while staring at me with a look of concern on her face.

"Y-Yeah." I sighed out hastily before trying to eat my lunch.

Sadly, I lost my appetite after that.

"Hey, I'm gonna go throw my lunch out, I'll be back." I informed her.

"But you didn't even eat anything!"

"It's fine." I spoke while walking away from her.

As I walked to the small section of the lunch room where the trash and were placed, I felt a pair of eyes piercing my back.

Quickly throwing out the food, I walked back and noticed the pair of eyes never leave my fragile figure.

Identifying the person who's eyes were intensely staring at me, I found the person who I didn't want to see.

Kim Taehyung.

He was sitting in a table full of other boys, they looked just like him.

While they weren't paying attention to me, no one in the cafeteria was, he was.

Taehyung was staring at me.

His green eyes mystically giving me shivers.

He had a blank expression on, but his eyes showed differently.

I can't describe it, but it was like his eyes were pleading.

But why?

Averting my gaze from his, I sat back down by Seungwan who was still eating her meal.

We started talking, but I couldn't keep replaying the memory in my head.

Kim Taehyung is the monster behind Hyejong's disappearance, and many girls in Daegu.

And I, might be next.
