Hesitance

"Are you coming with me to underworld training?" Seungwan called as we both stood up from our fourth period class, Trigonometry.

"Uh, no I have somewhere else to go." I quickly spoke while looking down at my schedule.

I had study hall right now, in my homeroom.

Seungwan looked at my schedule, nodding at my next class then bid me farewell, going to her next class.

Even though I was still in my homeroom class, I wanted to stand up and stretch. I've been sitting for two periods straight and needed some time to move around.

As I walked to the window, I felt chills run down my spine.

Why?

Oh it's him.

He entered the classroom.

Not even daring to look, I continued to stare outside of the window.

I felt the chair next to mine pull back slowly. It made a loud shrieking noise which seemed to make me flinch a little bit.

"What's wrong pumpkin, get scared so easily?" His voice, it was exact one that I remember spoke to me at the playground.

Not daring to look or even give any signs that I had heard him, I continued to stare out of the window.

"Well since your ignoring me, I'd like to say one more thing, welcome to hell." He spoke once more.

And just like that, he was gone. He turned into a pile of dust that was the color of space, pure black. His scent was still strong in the room and so was his dangerous aura.

"It's okay Yang Haera, you'll be fine. Don't listen to him, continue to ignore him." I tried to reassure myself while staring at the black dust.

As time went by, fourth period quickly ended and so did fifth, meaning that the school day was over.

Walking out of the main school doors, I bid a farewell to Seungwan who was walking the opposite direction of my home.

While walking, I began to think about the events that happened today, on my first day of school.

I don't belong there,

I'm not special,

I don't have any talents,

Why did Taehyung request me to this school?

As the thoughts kept racing my mind, I didn't realize that someone's presence was in front of me.

I bumped into them, quite ignorantly.

But oh, if I don't apologize and bow, I'll look like a jerk.

Bowing, I apologized only once before looking up to face the unknowns face.

Kim Taehyung.

His green eyes gazed down my fragile body for what felt like an eternity.

"What do you want?"

"Well won't you look at that, the innocent and pure one is talking with confidence." He smirked.

Trying to push past him, I failed miserably as he held a tight grip on my forearm.

His hands were cold, it felt as if they were blocks of ice.

My sleeves were rolled up, so my forearm was bare and exposed to his grip.

Staring deeply into his eyes, I saw his eyes flicker. They went from a neon green to a hazel brown in a matter of seconds before changing back.

"P-Please let me go." I whispered.

But it was hopeless. He didn't bulge nor act as if he heard me pleading.

I just want to get home and eat food damnit!

Just then, my stomach decided to reenact the Godzilla movies. It made a loud grumble which seemed to get his attention.

A wave of fresh embarrassment hit me hard. It felt as if an actual wave had hit me and I fell down from the impact.

Of course, he then disappeared into the galaxy-looking black dust.

His hand that was gripping onto my forearm also turned into dust, which lay lightly on the area he was holding a strong grasp on.

Taking a small amount from the forearm, I placed the dust into my index and thumb to get a better look at it.

It glistened brightly, a big contrast to the sky above us, cloudy and depressing.

Still trying to recover from the awkward situation with a "demon" creature, I hurriedly walked to my apartment.

With just my luck, I remembered that I had powders of BB Cream on my face, making me as pale as white fur, making the blushing even more noticeable than my actual skin color, tan.

Arriving at my apartments building, I was greeted by the usual guard that stood inside the building.

He watched over all of us and made sure that no one suspicious was able to get inside.

To say the least, this apartment was quite luxurious, but not as grand as the apartment across the street.

It was gigantic, making this apartment look tiny and frail.

All of the richer kids in my old school, the one that Haneul attends lives there.

"Haera! How was school!" Someone yelled from behind me.

Oh do I have a story to tell you, Haneul.
