Chapter 8 No Room to Breathe

"Jared always told me you could sing, but I never expected that!" Kevin said as they walked into headquarters. "Jared told you about my singing?" Tamera asked looking slightly surprised and happy. "Yeah, believe or not but Jared talked a lot about you." Kevin said giving Tamera a huge smirk. "Well, I'm going to go to bed. I'll see you in the morning." Tamera said going to her room. Tamera tired to go to sleep, but for some reason all she could think about was Jared. Finally giving up she decided to go do some training on her own.

She plugged her iPod into the radio in the training room and started her workout. Her workout wasn't anything special all she would do was basic exercises such as push-ups, pull-ups, lunges, and etc. She had put on Sum 41 to listen to while she worked out. About half way through her work out she changes the music to Selena Gomez Rock God and started to dance and sing like nobody was watching. Unfortunately somebody was watching it was Jared.

Jared's laugh finally caught Tamera's attention and slight scared which caused her to trip on her own feet. "Who knew the clumsy girl in front of me know was the same girl who sang on stage tonight." He said sarcastically. "Yeah well, somebody had to knock Claire off her high horse." Tamera said getting up off the floor. "Trent wants you to be part of our next mission. We need to get into Ian's accomplice's office to access some files that are in his office. His accomplice will be hosting a party at his house so that gives us an opportunity." Jared said to Tamera. "What will I be doing on this mission?" She asked with a serious face. "You will be keeping an eye on the accomplice to make sure he doesn't go to his office while we are in there." Tamera nodded as if she approved.

Jared walked up to Tamera to where there was almost no space between them. "I don't want you to go on the mission." He said to her with a face of stone. "What? Why?" She asked staring to yell. "You'll just get in the way." He said still not backing away. "You think I can't handle it! Well, news flash I am going whether you like it or not." Tamera yelled at Jared. She finally stepped back and stormed off to her room. Before she reached for the door Jared grabbed her to where her back was to the door and she had no where to go. "Look, I just don't want you messing anything up. If you do mess things up then you would be nowhere near avenging your family." Jared said pressing his body against Tamera's so she could move. "Just back the hell off. I will make sure am out of your way." She said quickly opening the door and rushing inside.

Tamera was so tired after what had just happened she drifted off into another dream. Amelia picked up a vile of the memory serum from inside the vault and placed it in her purse. "Okay, we need to go." Calvin said to his wife Amelia. Nodding she took Tamera's hand and followed Trent and Calvin out the door with Chris following close behind. When they got to the garage there were two black jeeps with Ian's men inside who opened fire in all of them. They all ducked behind a couple of vans trying to figure a way out. "Trent get my parents and sister out of here. I'm going to distract them while you get out." Chris said in a stern voice. They argued only for a few seconds until they all agreed. Chris got into a separate van and drove close behind them. Ian's henchmen men were gaining when suddenly a third jeep came ramming right into Chris causing his car to flip.

Tamera was startled by the dream that it woke her up in a sweat. This time Tamera knew it wasn't just a dream because it was also a memory. Tamera thought to herself that was it possible for her to regain her list memories. Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. It was Trent he wanted to go over the mission with Tamera for that night.
