The next day Tamera went through another normal day at school. Which consisted of getting her papers and books thrown to the ground, getting her lunch box thrown in the trash can, and finally having Claire throw a bottle of water on her. At the end of the days she met up with Jared to go to club for teens. Of course when they got there Claire was already waiting for Jared. She put on her usual act which was to pretend she could put up with Tamera. After a while Claire got up and sang and as always everyone clapped for her even though she wasn't that great. She was not horrible but she was just not that great either. Both Tamera and Jared knew that Tamera could out sing Claire and just about anyone else no problem, but Tamera didn't like to stand up in front of people. The only person Tamera ever sang for was Jared and sometimes Chris.

Around nine Tamera decided to leave. "Oh, come on. Do you have to go? I mean Claire is just getting warmed up. At least sing one song before you go." Jared said pleadingly. "I will sing if you sing with me." she replied giving him a look. She knew Jared would never sing in front of his friends. In fact she had only heard him sing a full song by himself once. After that she had never heard him sing again. "Have a safe trip back home." he said quickly waving and giving her one of his famous smirks. Returning the wave she walked out the door.

Little did Tamera know that by walking out the door that her life would never be the same. She rounded a corner to a dimly lit street. Tamera had a weird feeling someone was following her. It wasn't until she did a quick glance behind her to see a guy in a dark coat walking behind her. At first she thought it was a coincidence until she took a sharp left and so did the guy. She quickened her pace as did the guy as if he was trying to keep up with her. By now she was running and she also wasn't paying attention to where she was running to. All she knew was that she shouldn't let this guy catch her. She then took a harsh left only to find a dead end. She turned around to go back only to find the guy blocking her way. Tamera backed up into the wall blocking her path and pushed herself up against the wall hoping that somehow she would phase through the wall. The guy reached out to grab her only to be flung back. It was too dark to see her savior's face. Her savior thrust the guy back with a single hand and knocked the guy over in a single kick. The guy scrambled to his feet and fled leaving Tamera alone with her savior.

Her savior stepped into to the light of the moon to where she could see his face. "Jared? What? Who was that guy? Where did you learn to fight like that? What the hell is going?" Tamera accidentally yelled at him. Jared simply pulled his phone out of his pocket and spoke into it without even looking at Tamera. "They found her. I'll take her HQ. Alright, I will call Trent and tell Kevin to come pick us up." Jared hung up and dialed another still not looking at Tamera. "Trent, it's me. I need to take Tamera to HQ. They found her. Alright I will meet you there." Hanging up Jared finally looked at Tamera and didn't say a word.

A few minutes later a van came swing around the corner. Jared opened the back door and ordered Tamera to get in. She didn't know why but she got in obediently without a word. A guy about Jared and Tamera's age was driving. He had black hair and dark eyes and was wearing a goofy smile. "Hi there, the names Kevin. I know you just went through a lot so of you need to cry I won't judge." "I'm Tamera also I don't cry. I learned a long time ago that crying is useless." Tamera said. She turned toward Jared who was sitting in the passenger seat with a cold look in his eyes.
