Blake backed into the corner of Leesa's room, her mouth shut tightly.
Leesa was digging around in her closet, ignoring her completely. Blake was furious by this, sinking to the floor and hugging her knees. What was happening? Why in the world did this girl have a problem with her?! Before Blake could say something, Leesa turned her head to the door.
"Come in, Anya. And stop spying for heaven's sake!" Leesa grumpily says. Another girl opened the door. She was a vampire too, and she looked almost exactly like green-eyed, blonde-haired, and pale-skinned Leesa, except this Anya had a red right eye. Anya was smiling like crazy, clearly not caring to show her pointed fangs.
"Sorry, sis," Anya giggles. "I was just checking on how our guest was doing!"
"She's fine, but if I'd had it my way she'd be dead by the rise of the sun,"Leesa growls angrily. Just what was so special about this human girl?! She was a brat, a pest, A HUMAN for crying out loud! Leesa hated Blake's guts from the moment she'd smelled her mortal blood.
"Just go get some shoes from my closet, and stop complaining. I think it's nice to have a visitor here every once in a while." She turned to Blake. "How's human life?" She laughs. "It must be very exciting."
Blake groaned, "It sucks. I don't recommend trying it anytime soon."
Anya laughs. "You're funny. I might not drink your blood after all." Blake supposed that was a joke..but she wouldn't take it lightly so soon.
"Yeah..uh...thanks. So..what's with her?" Blake nods to the closet across the room with the angry Leesa inside. Anya rolls her eyes, smiling. Apparently, Blake managed to meet a vampire here who wasn't completely insane.
"She likes Lee. She's jealous of you. I think it's because she knows on the inside why he chose you instead of here. At least, she knows part of the reason."
Blake starts to ask, "And why is th-"
Anya puts a finger to Blake's mouth. "I'll tell you later. Right now, you have to get ready. Don't wanna keep the Pureblood waiting."
Blake attempts to protest, but Anya shoves something over her before she realizes what's happening. "?" She looked down. "A dress?...Really?..." The dress was white and had a sweat-heart neckline with lace over it, and it hung almost perfectly over her sleek body. Lace was sewed to the bottom, and a red bow was neatly tied and sewed to the stomach area of the red dress. Blake murmurs, "Who made this anyway?..."
"Leesa did!" Anya cheerfully answers just as Leesa appeared in front of them, slipping on black high heels on Blake's feet. Leesa then holds up a necklace in one hand, and other accessories in the other hand. Anya runs a brush through Blake's hair, pulling it up into a braid across her head. Anya holds out a red rose, placing the stem behind her ear so it would stay put.
"Uh..." Blake kicks the shoes off. "I can't walk in heels..."
After another fifteen minutes of bickering, Leesa finally gives in, letting her go barefoot.
Blake breathes in. "Here goes nothing..."
