Blake opened her eyes slowly, sitting up. She was in her own room again, the dress from the previous night nowhere to be seen. Instead, a day class uniform was fitted perfectly on her. Whoever had dressed her got the bow just right. Blake blushed, wondering who'd taken her home from yesterday. What had happened? All she remembered was passing out, and the smell of her own blood. She touched her neck, and pain surged up to her head. She glanced at the mirror. Two holes in her neck were there, barely visible to a person who didn't know what they were. Blake gulped, touching it again.
"Ow!" She yelped, more pain surging to her head.
A flash of bared teeth and sheathed claws flooded her mind. A beautiful girl looking similar to her stood in front of a human. A knife with a red rose was placed on a silver platter. Pain struck a familiar face as well as the knife.
Blake sat up, gasping for air. She broke into a fit of coughing, her eyes wide. A headache had worked its way into her head, a tingling feeling spreading through her neck. She looked at the mirror again, inspecting her wound. Her throat went dry.
It was gone.
