Chapter 11

Jolie's POV

Calling Jeff was the best thing i could have done. And though it sounded lame, sitting in his car with Hunter and the music blasting louder then i dont know what, brought such a peace of mind to me. Over the ride, i discovered that Jeff had the best taste in music. From Joan Jett, to Arcade fire.... he was essentially my musical soul mate.

For whatever reason, Hunter was actually being human. Smiling, joking, being a total tool. It brought a smile to my face. We had been in the car for 20 minutes of driving until the greatest idea hit me.

"How would you guys like to meet my other half?" I bit my lip in anxiety... Jeff looked elated, and Hunter simply shrugged.

" ID LOVE to meet your friends Jo-lovely." Jeff sent me a huge smile. Deciding not to waste another moment i dialed Kim's number.

" Kiiiiiiiiiim" I dragged his name out long in a British accent. " Sir, I'd like to know if you were interested in purchasing a life supply of A butt lotion proven to enlarge your gluteus elevenfold."

"WHY! Yes. yes I would. Jooooooo - Baby." Kim screamed.

Jeff yelled from behind me, "GOD JO. Go faster! Go faster." He then yelled awkwardly. Leave it to Jeff to make loud sex noises for them to hear. Kim was literally dieing of laughter over the phone yet hunter looked as if he were on the verge of gagging.

"TREAT HIM RIGHT." Kim yelled into my ear. Laughing I asked him if there was a chance we could stop by. Of course, Kim said yes and it was fact that he would tell John immediately.

We shared our goodbyes and jumping up and down In my seat, I yelled. "ON WARD MY LOVE."
Jeff smiled and followed my Direction.

"So tell us about these people... Any hot girls?" Hunter said. Rolling my eyes i stated , "Aren't I hot as it is?" I winked to him and he gave me a flat look.

" Im introducing you to my two friends John and Kim. They are a couple.... Happily out of the closet and madly madly in love." I was bluffing to his face. They really weren't gay but I could only picture the future Hunter saying something and making an ass out of himself.

Hunter lost interest and before I knew it, there we were. I jumped out of the car and ran. Standing outside waited Kim and John. I got a running start and Kim ran my way too. I launched myself into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist. I knew Kim of all people could carry me like a feather being he was a total muscle head.

Jumping out if his arms i ran into the arms of John. Instead of something as eccentric as spinning ,i simply just rested in his arms. Taking in all that he was. We must have been that way for a while because Hunter and Kim had coughed obnoxiously.

Smiling i began, "Kim. John. Meet my friends Jeff and Hunter." Jeff seemed elated to make new friends. The guys all did the whole hand clap thing and before I knew it everyone was getting along.

" Sooo... You and Kim! You guys are so lucky to have found the one you love. I'm with this girl, Lindsay. She is cool and all its just... i dunno. How long have you two been together." Hunter said to John.

The looks of confusion plastered on both of their faces made me laugh a loud. My sides literally began to hurt.

John leaned forward to Hunter, " Did Jolie over here tell you that we were together?" He motioned to Kim.

Hunter shook his head yes and Kim began laughing. " you are so right Jo, these friends of yours are great." Kim and Jeff were getting along great.

John looked to me and said, " she was only kidding with you. She of all people should know i enjoy allll parts of what women have to offer." He winked to me and I could feel the heat reach my cheeks. He then smiled and said , " I heard about Jeff there. I didn't know that potatoism was an actual thing. I guess love is love though." This on its own made us all laugh.

The whole night continued like this. In Kim's living room sprawled eating and enjoying each others company. I sat snuggled in between John and Jeff. Sighing in happiness from John running his fingers through my hair and Jeff making corny jokes. Kim and Hunter were in the middle of a Mortal Kombat battle.

Eventually, it got late. And it was a school day tomorrow so we had to say good bye. I vowed to them that I'd see them again. It had been only 2 days but i felt like an eternity.

Driving away, I fell asleep in the back seat next to Hunter. I was shocked to see that he let me use him as a pillow and before I knew It i was out.

Jeff's POV
I looked back to the girl sleeping soundly in the back seat. For the first time in a long time things seemed right.

Sure, the whole thing with Daxton was still unaddressed but now seemed as good a time as any to just sit back and enjoy the breeze.

I drove alll the way to Hunters place and to my surprise, discovered that he and Jo were neighbors. More gas for my baby then.

Hunter gave me a look of question as to what to do about sleeping beauty in the back. I decided... Why not have some fun?

After stopping. I decided to yell at the top of my lungs. " OH GOD. MY BREAKS AREN'T WORKING. THEIR IS A POLE!"

The peanut loser jumped up and yelled, "AGHHHHHHHHHHH"
Hunter and i both broke out into a fit of laughter. After some realization she got a look on her face, crossed her arms and said " SHEESH. NOT FUNNY. GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK, WILL YOU."
She jumped out of the car and slammed the door.

Hunter ran after her. "It's was allll him."he said She simply rolled her eyes. Trying to stop laughing i stated, "It was only with love princess."
She stomped up her driveway and flipped both me and hunter off.

lovely. So classy. If anything was certain - it was this : i wanted to hang out with her and her friends again.
