Alter- Egos and Finals

━━━━━━━━━

"Guys." Leo started. We all looked up from our books. We had been studying for finals for the last two hours.

"What?" I ventured. Leo was pretty out there. We had only been friends now for about five months.

"I. Am. Bor-"

"Spit it out!" Adam yelled. Chase's eyes widened as Adam stared down at his best friend.

"I was going to say, I was bored. But, lets deal with the more important matter at hand. How are you, Adam?" Leo replied. I smiled as Adam calmed down and sat back on the floor. I was lying on my stomach next to Chase who was kind enough to share his math textbook with me. Simply because I didn't feel like getting up. Chase let his finger fall to where he had left off as he looked up to watch the scene play out.

"I'm doing great. But, I am also bored." Adam said with a sigh. He fell back on the couch and stared up at the wall as he waited for the solution. Leo smiled slyly as a thought crossed his mind.

"Follow me!" Leo exclaimed as he picked up his shoes and raced for the door. Chase turned to me with a questioning glance before we each got up to see the smallest in the group had left. Well, there you have that.

"He could be anywhere on campus by now." Chase stated simply. I nodded and crossed my arms over my chest. We were at Adam and Leo's apartment. He literally could be anywhere.

"Or, the obvious other option that he just might be... Oh I don't know, right outside the door!" Leo yelled from the hallway. I nodded before I reached down and picked up my flip flops. Chase stood back.

"Wait, you're actually following him?" Chase asked in disbelief.

"There is nothing better to do, and, the kid could kill himself." I replied before I walked out the apartment. Leo stood with a bright smile on his face. I laughed as I heard shuffling from inside the aprment before Adam and Chase appeared. Adam shut the door and slipped the keys into his pocket before Leo ran down the hall. I frowned in confusion as he waved us over with his arms and ran down the stairs. Chase sighed and grabbed my hand, leading me to the front of their apartment building. We walked out into the grass as we watched Leo run over to the auditorium. It was a Saturday, how was the kid planning to get inside?

"Where is he going?" I whispered to Chase.

"Well, he's either going to get locked out, or, he's going to act in a one woman play for us." Chase replied sarcastically. Adam frowned as we walked up the stairs.

"Wait but Leo's not a woman- wait, now I get it. You're just a little joker aren't you?" Adam said happily as he wrapped his arm around Chase's neck and scuffed his head.

"Leo what are you doing in there?" Chase asked with a laugh as we walked into the school auditorium. I smirked as Chase looked around and found no sight of Leo. We had just seen the kid walking in here. Adam laughed.

"What?" Chase and I asked as we stopped just under the stage.

"Didn't you guys see him go back there?" Adam asked in a duh tone. I could feel my eyebrows raise. How was it Adam always saw the things Chase and I didn't?

"Well lets go get him. There is no good reason for us to be here after hours." I pointed out. If Perry found us here, she would kill us. Chase nodded.
