The Buddies Rule - Adam

"Hey." Leo called as we strolled into Chase and Bree's apartment. We glanced around to see Bree sitting happily on the floor, looking through movie while Chase was making something in the kitchen. My first instinct was to face over and see what Chase was making, but in light of Bree and I's fake relationship, I pushed Leo towards Chase and sat next to Bree on the floor.

"Hey." I whispered as I sat down next to her. She smiled brightly and rested her hand on top of my own.

"Hey." She whispered back. She motioned towards three movies she had laid out a part from the rest strung out on the floor.

"Which one?" she asked. I shrugged and pointed to one in the middle.

"I love that movie." I teased as I picked it up and set it on the table. She nodded and picked up the rest with ease before shoving them back onto the shelf just under the tv. She sat back next to me before looking back to me.

"Do you really think this plan will work?" She asked, hoping for the best. I could tell she was in love with Chase from the beginning. Even when we were little, I could see that one day, they would be happy together. I always regretted trying out this plan, but I was in far too deep now. I had actually become friends with these two. I always thought I would hate Bree and Chase for as long as we lived. But now that every part of my plan was falling into place, it seemed as though I couldn't go through with it.

"I know it will work." I reassured with a smile. A wide grin took over in place of the sad smile Bree had worn the last couple of minutes.

"Thank you. For everything." Bree whispered before I had a chance to change the subject.

"Hey, why don't we play a game instead? We watch movies all the time." Chase called as he and Leo walked into the living room holding a bowl of popcorn. No wonder Bree wasn't in the kitchen.

"What game do you want to play?" I asked as I stood up, helping Bree up shortly. Chase shrugged and looked to Leo before a snide smile took over his own features.

"How about truth or dare? We haven't played that for a while." Chase continued. I felt my eyebrows raise in wonder. This couldn't end well. Chase had a plan. He was probably going to use his turn to get to Bree.

"Do we really have to play? I was kind of looking forward to the movie." Bree asked hopefully, already sensing what I was. Chasey was up to not good.

"Aww, come on, Bree. You're not scared to play a little game of truth or dare are you? Because if you are I guess-" Chase started.

"No, I'm not scared. I just think its stupid that we have the movie ready, and now you want to play a game." Bree interrupted. Chase smirked before motioning we all sit on the round in a circle.

"Okay, everyone sit in a circle, I'll go first." Leo replied excitedly before sitting down across from Bree. I took my seat in between Leo and Bree, knowing if I didn't sit by her, it would ruin the integrity of our plan. Chase smiled slyly towards me as I was about to reach for her hand.

"Adam, truth or dare?" Leo asked.

"Truth." I answered with certainty. I knew Leo liked to get the dirty details.

"Alright, have you... Ever kissed a girl on the first date?" Leo asked with a smile. Bree smiled and looked to me before turning to Chase. You could practically hear him grinding his teeth.
