Then he spoke, "It's Chan. May sakit siya Jeonghan, he's got a fever. Kakatawag lang ng maid sakin, and. . . I need to be there for him. Like right now." Jeonghan felt relieved and at the same time worried dahil nga narinig niya ang kalagayan ni Chan ngayon.

"I understand." Jeonghan said with a subtle smile on his lips. Seungcheol cuts, "I'm sorry, i know you want to— wait, what?"
"I said I understand. May sakit si Chan diba? You're a father and that comes first." after Jeonghan said that, Seungcheol widely smiles and gave Jeonghan a peck on the cheek.
With Jeonghan getting startled, "You're coming with me, right?" Seungcheol asked, and Jeonghan replied with a nod.

They headed towards Seungcheol's expensive ride. At habang on the way, nakapalumbaba si Jeonghan at nakaharap sa car window while Seungcheol was quietly driving.
Jeonghan decided to start a conversation, "So. . . Kailan pa daw nilalagnat si Chan?" tanong nito.
"Dunno either. I think this morning, kakatawag lang kasi nung maid. Saka ko lang nalaman." Seungcheol said. He looked a bit furious.

Jeonghan gazed at him while driving, Seungcheol made a face, a worried one.
Suddenly, nilagay ni Jeonghan ang kamay niya sa ibabaw ng hita ni Seungcheol, it caught Seungcheol's attention. "Don't worry Cheol. Chan will be fine. Lagnat lang 'yan. Kaya 'yan ni Chan. He's a strong boy." ani ni Jeonghan. He paused for a second. . .

Seungcheol's lips curved into a wide smile nang marinig niya ang sinabi ni Jeonghan. "Thank you, Jeonghan." He said while looking at the road and quickly glancing at Jeonghan.
Jeonghan bites his lower lip.
"Just a shame we had to cancel our date." Seungcheol said as he held Jeonghan's hand which was on his thigh.
"It's alright Seungcheol. Nag-aalala din naman talaga ako kay Chan." sabi ni Jeonghan dito. Seungcheol smirks as a response. "Okay. . ."
Sa totoo lang. . . It wasn't all about the date. May dahilan kung ba't nag-ayang makipagdate si Jeonghan kay Seungcheol ngayong araw. . . It's not about the time, how they spent it counts but there really is a different reason.
