I knew sooner or later the tears were going to come trailing down. I can't control it lately and I don't know why. I'm so sick of the tears and sadness. The one person who took that all away is the reason I'm like this right now. I know it's not his fault this is happening but I need the space. Every time I looked at Patrick I immediately thought of Carnell. How couldn't I think of him? It's like everything is turning into it's opposite. I never had one thought about Carnell while I was with Patrick and now I can't stop. He should be the last person on my mind but he's the only person on my mind.

Finally getting back to the house. It took me two trips but I had my stuff back in my house. Of course it was a pigsty in here. It looks like there was a party every night in this place. After a few hours of trying to figure out what majority of the junk was the house was clean.

I was laying on the couch watching TV. My back was so sore probably from bending so much. I heard the front door open.  "Lena..you in here?" "Yes. What? You scared of a clean house?" Royce was such a chicken. For him to be the size he is he, he can be a scaredy cat. "Haha. You're so funny. After abandoning and neglecting me you decide to come back. You know" Royce started off his dramatic rant. "I really don't know how I made it without you. No one to cook dinner for me, clean..talk to!" Royce had his head in his hand sniffling. "You missed me that much?" "Nah I had my niggas, pussy and pizza. I was fine." He said messing up my hair. "I did miss you kid. I'm worried about you. Dustin filled me in on what's been happening." I sank in my seat and sighed. "It's not your fault. Unless you purposely got with Patrick." He said flipping through channels. I hit him. "No stupid! I honestly had no idea. How do you know Patrick?" "I know all of them. It's like a tribe of them. What made you come back?" "Things weren't working out..." "We don't have to talk about it."

We watched TV with each other for awhile. "I'm trying my hardest to stay out your business since you're self proclaimed grown now. I hate seeing this happen to you. I told you to stay away from Carnell because I love you, I wasn't trying to be an asshole big brother. Now you're in this mess and I can't fix it. I'm not Dad but I am looking out for you while you're here. Make better decisions kid."

December 2nd

I couldn't sleep well at all last night. My back wouldn't stop hurting and I couldn't stop eating. I'm running on three hours of sleep with a full day of work ahead. I had to stop and get a mcgriddle before I went into work. The golden arches were calling my name. I walked in ready to get this day over with. "You look out of it." "I am out of it. Why does my life have to be so hard?" "Because it means that something great is going to come out of all of this." Gia reassured me with a squeeze on the shoulder. If only I believed what she said. I see no rainbow with a pot of gold at the end happening for me.

Twenty minutes later Kendra showed up. She hadn't been here since Gia sliced her tires. "Oh look who it is, the bitch who stole Dickmas!" Gia said cheerfully. "This is coming from the bitch who can't get a man." "You shouldn't talk about yourself. By the way how did you get here? I don't see your sleigh parked outside?" Gia said peeping over at the window. "Carnell paid for my new tires and if you slice anything of mine again I'll have you arrested!" "Yawn. I'll slice you up next-" "Good morning ladies!" "Good morning Mr.Williamson" We said together. "All are looking very lovely today!" Mr.Williamson went on his merry way to the elevators. Good thing he came when he did.

The comment Kendra made about Carnell buying her tires stuck with me. I know he technically isn't mine but I can't help but to feel possessive of him. I tried my best to ignore Kendra, confrontation isn't my thing. It's just hard to know I cried to this girl about Carnell while she was the one he was with. Bitches are so evil, and this back pain isn't making things better.

December 6th

I could barely stand up. I've been sluggish all day. The back pain is still here but now the hunger I always have has been replaced with cramping. This isn't normal cramping nothing about this feels right. I was going to the bathroom. As I wiped I could see all the blood on the tissue. This wasn't menstrual blood. I knew for a fact this wasn't good blood. I panicked and started screaming. I was calling out for Royce hoping he heard me. "Royce help me!" "What! What!..." He was staring at me. The blood wouldn't stop coming down. The pad I put on wasn't really working. "I need to go to the hospital!" Royce grabbed a towel and picked me up to take me to the car. "Call Carnell." I moaned out. These cramps were getting too strong. "You sure? You don't want me to get in touch with Patrick?" "Call Carnell." I wanted him out of all people. I don't know why but I did. Reaching the hospital they immediately put me in a room so they could stop the bleeding. "You're going to be fine Miss. Richards. You're going to be fine."

"She's waking up." I felt so tired and drained. My body felt like the life was drained out of me. I looked around the room. Royce was here, Carnell was here, and Patrick. This is why I didn't want him to call Patrick. The last time we were together it didn't end well. I decided not to say anything, my eyes were drifting off anyway. "I'll let the nurse know she's awake." Royce pressed the button to tell the nurse I was awake. "How you feeling?" Carnell asked "Sore and really tired." Carnell was sitting closest to me. Patrick was in a chair in the corner. We happened to glance at each other at the same time but I looked away. "I got you this." It was a medium sized light brown bear. It had a blue bandanna tied around it's neck that said get well soon. I smiled. "It's so cute. Thank you." Carnell had his infamous smirk on his face. I could hear Patrick grunt. This is why I told him to call just Carnell.

"Hello Miss Richards, I'm Dr.Guptan." He had a Indian accent, it wasn't heavy but you can definitely hear it. "Hi." "You look great for someone who lost a nice amount of blood." He said trying to lighten the mood. I smiled for him so he wouldn't feel awkward. "What happened?" Patrick finally spoke. Dr.Guptan took a breath in. "Nothing I'm going to tell you is easy." "Ok.." Carnell scooted closer to me. "You started to hemorrhage and we were able to stop the bleeding, for now. Because you were bleeding heavy from that area I did an ultrasound and saw a fetus that you passed shortly after. We took a blood test that confirmed you were definitely pregnant. There are still some tissues left in your uterus that will pass in a few days. I'm so sorry."

No one said anything. I was speechless. I had made an appointment to come here for next week. I took a pregnancy test two days ago but didn't believe it. I didn't really feel an emotion, I was blank. Not until I looked down at my gown and realized my stomach would stay flat. I won't get those crazy cravings everyone talks about. I won't complain about not being able to fit in my favorite pair of jeans. I won't get that fabulous baby shower with all my family and friends back home. I won't get to feel that first kick. I touched my stomach and the tears started from there. "How far along was she?" Patrick asked. "Judging from the ultrasound I would say 7-8 weeks. It's normal for miscarriages to happen during this first trimester. Everything looks fine on the inside, sometimes they just happen. Again, I'm sorry." Dr.Guptan left out. It was Carnell's. I was really sobbing now, I couldn't fight it back. I kept repeating why as the day me and Carnell had sex was on replay.

Patrick stood up with his head down. "Patrick! Patrick!" He completely ignored me and left out. That gave me more fuel to cry. Carnell hugged me and I grabbed his arm and continued my sobs. I had became so concerned about hurting Patrick that I forgot about Carnell. I had totally ignored his feelings, he lost a baby too today. He pulled back from the hug and I could see his face turning red. His sadness was very visible on his face. "It's going to be f..." His eyes were closed. He was trying to hold back tears but one escaped. Royce came over to give us hugs. "I'll call Mom." He left out and it was just Carnell and I. "I had no idea." Carnell turned his chair so he could be close to me as possible. "I love you." He said looking me in the eyes. This is the most serious I had ever seen him. "Tell me you love me." "I love you Carnell." He put his face in the crook of my neck holding me while I tried to stop the tears.
