Two Months Later

"You're so silly!" I said laughing on the phone at work. I couldn't stop smiling. They probably think I'm some weirdo because I smile so much throughout the day. He makes me so happy and he's on my mind constantly. "Am I going to see you today?" He said using his sexy tone. "I don't know, it all depends on what time he comes home from work." I said with disappointment. It has been awhile. "I haven't seen you in almost two weeks babe. If you'd let me drive you to work I could pick you up whenever I wanted." I smiled. "Now you know that plan won't work, he's already been acting suspicious. I'll come up with something and call you later." "Fine." He said with a sigh, I giggled. "Bye, Patrick."

I hung up the phone with a smile and an immediate cloudy mind. Frantically trying to brainstorm an excuse of why I won't be home on time or why I had to leave. Living arrangements are different now. When Dustin moved out into his own house, I moved in with Carnell despite the baby news. He gets the baby on the weekend which is when I go to Patrick's aka my second home. I have the key to his house back and moved some of my stuff back in there. The day he found out Raj was his son, was the day Patrick and I put aside our petty drama and started our love affair.

"Tsk tsk tsk. Lena, you still being undercover lovers with Patrick?" Gia asked. "It's not something I planned on, it was unexpected." Honestly it was. "I've tried to live that life before and that's how I ended up with DeVon." Jennifer said. She was put with us after they sent Kendra to a different floor. Thank God they did, I couldn't do another day with her within five feet of me. "That's what's gonna happen to Lena. She'll realize she loves one more than the other and leave one." Jenn finished. "She should've been left Carnell dusty ass. I'll give him his credit, he did clean up his act and is a good Daddy. But, I'm still team Patrick." Gia added.

This wasn't easy trying to please two men. For the most part I've been able to have my cake and eat it too. "Would yall ever get a side line man?" I asked being curious. "No, Carlos has the bomb spanish dick and he's a sweetie. That's my love." Gia said with a smile. "I couldn't step out on DeVon, just because of all the bullshit I've already put him through. He was my side man and I didn't even tell him until I was finally done with my ex." "Sheesh Jenn!" I said while we laughed. "Don't worry you'll know who really want to be with in no time."

After work I got in my car and called Carnell before I started up my car. "Hey baby." "Hi sweetie, you home yet?" I asked. "Oh, no...I was going to Kendra's for awhile to see Raj." I smacked my lips and shook my head. I put on my best sad voice. "Oh..." "Baby-" I cut him off. "No, no I get it. I understand you want to be with your family. Why don't you just move them in!" "Milena, I'll be home in a few hours." He said raising his voice a little. "Well I won't!" I said while hanging up. It started out as me trying to put on a little show but I meant what I said. He's always spending time with them. Why would I spend that time being alone in that big house when I can be with someone who wants to spend time with me? I'm just tired of Kendra and her child.

My producing career has been on the rise. A little bit of everybody wants to work with me or record at the studio. I can't wait to take this trip to LA to work with Drake. Another upside of my life, Celeste is not my baby mama. Emery was born full term a month ago. I waited in the hospital with her, prepared for the worst but not that news. I even cut Emery's cord, she was so cute but not mine. Celeste had me thinking she was only five months along. It sucks a little that she's not my baby, I was kinda excited to be a Dad. I even held her and took pictures that I haven't deleted. I hate that I let Celeste back into my life again but lesson learned, again.
