Finale Pt. 1

Four Years Later

April 22nd 2018

"So this is the new house! You'll be seeing it in a few days." The camera goes back and forth showing the downstairs area. "As we travel up the stairs, I'm gonna show you guys around." The camera turned to face the hallway. "This is Mommy and Daddy's room." Camera shows a king sized bed in a nicely furnished room with a blue and white color scheme. "This is where we got it on and made-" "Babe." The camera cuts to where the voice came from and back. "Dang, ok my bad. We'll talk about it when you guys are older. Mommy's being a little grumpy."

The camera switches back to the hallway. "Here's the bathroom for you guys. Rubber ducks, toys, bubbles all the good stuff." The camera goes back to the hallway "We're walking, we're walking. Now this room is for you two." The door opens to reveal a baby's room with pink on one side and blue on the other. "Daddy hooked it up for you guys. Yall better appreciate it too, this wasn't cheap."

The camera shifts back to the hallway. "So now we're about to head back downstairs." The camera shows the stairs that lead into the living room where the TV is showing cartoons. "Living room is nice right? There's your brother jumping around. Hey Raj, what's going on man?" "Nothin', just jumping around." Rajan was a very hyper and happy child. "I'm making a video, what you got to say?" Rajan tilted his head. "Um I don't know right now. Oh! I found some bugs in the backyard!" He was cheesing hard. "Oh yeah? That's cool. What do you think about Mommy having the babies today?" He started jumping up and down. "I'm excited! I always wanted a brother. " "What about your new sister?" He made a face. "I mean I'll like her too but I want a brother so we can play with my trucks and wrestle." Rajan hopped away.

"There's Mommy. You two are kicking it in there right now." Carnell zooms out to show Milena. "Hey Mama." "Hi." She was glowing rubbing her stomach. "You ready to pop?" "Yes, I can't wait to meet you two!"

July 4th 2018

The twins are here and I couldn't be happier. We had a girl, Carria Michelle and a boy, Cameron Maximilion. Carnell picked out Cam's middle name. Being a mother has been the best part of my life! I've helped Carnell raise Raj since he was given full custody. Raj calls me Mommy and I call him my son and it feels exactly like that. My family accepts him fully and my parents love being grandma and grandpa. We try to visit every two months.

The only difficult part is not letting Rajan know about Kendra and her family wanting to see him. I feel completely territorial about him going over there but, they do have a right to know him and he should know them. It's too risky, Carnell doesn't want him around them at all. He thinks they might try to kidnap him or something crazy like that. The custody battle got a little ugly. Kendra's family wanted Rajan and thought they deserved to raise him, even though Carnell is his father and can provide more than enough. They got pretty nasty about it threatening us over voice mails, harassing us at work, on the Internet. They stopped when we let the judge know and showed him proof which led to him granting us full custody.

Kendra has written a few letters every now and again asking to bring him to visit and begging Carnell to see her. He won't though, he's very protective over the kids and me. Since the day Carnell fully recovered he's been all about family, prayer, and being happy. That night at the hospital I knew I couldn't leave him. A crazy day that revealed to me even though I loved Patrick and everything could be perfect if I was with him, I was in love with Carnell. The very thought of him dying that day killed me. Our love was a mess, but a mess that we cleaned up to make something beautiful. I left Patrick alone and that wasn't easy. We sat down and talked about it. I cried, he yelled, I yelled, and he yelled even louder until I finally got him to understand we can't be together. It was hard but necessary. There was no way I was going to hurt him in anyway after coming so close to losing him.
