.31 Two Months Later

Two months had passed and there was still no response from C's body everyone had been telling me that I should just go home and get some rest since I had been up here since the incident happened. But to me, that was saying that I was giving up on my husband and that was something that I had no plans on doing. We had made vows that night that we would be each other sides no matter what through thick and thin and I wasn't about to leave my husband's side. I sighed shook my head and walked over to his bed grabbed his hand and said.

"Clinton baby I know you can hear me. I miss you right now and I need you to wake up, I feel as if my whole world has been torn upside down." I cried.

"Just wake up please." I sighed.

I dried my eyes and laid down with my head on his hand when I heard someone come in the room.

"Hey I don't mean to bother you but I wanted to come and see if he were okay.

I had heard from some of his boys about what happened and I wanted to come by and see if he were okay." She says sounding worried.

I clenched my jaw and bald my fist up. I wanted so bad to pound her face in but that wasn't going to bring my husband back to me all it was going to do was make the issue worse.

"That's fine," I say nodding my head.

"Thank you so much." She says smiling back at me.

I nodded my head got up from my seat and walked down to the cafeteria so I could get me a bite to eat. While I was down there I called my best friend Ali and waited for her to answer the phone it took a minute for her to answer the phone but when she finally did she sounded as if she were sleep or something.

"Hey, bestie sorry to bother you," I say sighing.

"No... No... You're not bothering me." She says moving around in her bed.

"Okay." I sighed.

"Yea now what's up woman?" She asked.

I sighed once again bit down on my bottom lip and said. "She's here bestie."

"Who's there?" She asked worriedly.

"I'm talking about Shaletia she's here to see him," I replied.

"What the fuck is she doing there?" Ali shouted through the phone.

"I don't know but she said that she wasn't going to come and start no beef she just wanted to come and see how he was doing," I replied.

"Uh huh she probably the reason why his ass is up in that damn hospital in the first place," Ali replied.

"I doubt it," I say shaking my head.

"Okay don't believe me but when something else happens don't say I didn't tell you so." I shook my head sighed and told her that I would call her back.

She told me, okay and I hung up the phone I loved my besties but sometimes I just didn't agree with some of the things that they said. I know she may have done a lot of things at first but I don't think this would be one of the things that she did. This was the work of someone else and I was going to find out who it was one way or the other that person was going to go down for hurting my husband. I finished eating my food threw my stuff in the trash and went back up to the room Shaletia was gone when I got there but I had intentions on talking to her so I could see where head was. I sighed sat down next to C grabbed his hand said a quick prayer laid my head down on his hand and called it tonight. I hoped that my husband would wake up soon because I couldn't imagine how life would be without him.
