.7 Two weeks later....

I looked around the house and made sure that everything was fixed up. I was super geeked about C coming.home why I don't know but I was.

"So mommie let me get this straight daddy is going to be coming to stay with us?" Fred asked putting the finishing touches on the strawberry cake that I had baked.

"Yes, your dad is coming to stay with us." I chuckled.

"Yayy so that means that me and dad can stay up all night and play video games?" He asked with a smile on his face.

"No baby you can not sit up and play video games all night," I say with a sigh.

"And why not?" He asked with a confused look planted on his face.

"Because your dad is going to have to get a lot of rest," I replied.

"But why mommie?" He asked still not understanding what I was trying to tell him.

"Because daddy got hurt really really bad and the doctor wants him to rest up before he does anything." I try and explain to him.

"Aww okay," Fred says pouting.

"Yea but if you ask daddy he could probably play games with you for a few minutes and it's off to bed you will both go after," I replied.

"Okay, mommie," Fred says smiling.

I nodded my head yea and finished up the rest of the food then headed upstairs where I took my shower came back down and called up my girls.

"Yo Ali speaking?" Ali says answering the phone on the third ring.

"Hey bestie," I say sighing.

"Girl what the hell is wrong with you?" Shanice ask back.

"Nothing much just got a lot of stress on me at the moment." I sighed.

"What kind of stress?" Ali asked smacking her lips.

"For real you shouldn't be stressing about nothing yo ass got a good paying ass job and you got two wonderful parents that care about you and your kids," Shanice adds.

"I know but it has nothing to do with that," I replied.

"Okay well, what is it then because you ain't got no man." Ali chuckles.

"That's not funny bitch," I say smacking my lips.

"What it's true." She laughs again.

"Whatever," I say smacking my lips once again.

"Anyways what's wrong woman?" Shanice ask changing the subject.

"Well, you know how I told you guys about me and C right?" I asked with a sigh.

"Yea." They both say at the same time.

"Well, he's going to be staying with me. " I replied.

"Girl have you lost your damn mind!" Shanice yelled.

"No, I haven't lost my mind." I sighed.

"Well, why the hell would you want him to stay with you?" Ali yelled.

"Because he asked the doctor if he could stay with me since he's going to be on house rest," I replied. "Well you know this is finna be hell on earth now." Shanice laughed.

"Yea I know," I say sighing.

"Well, you better pray because who knows what's going to happen," Ali replies.

As I got ready to say something else someone knocked on the door.

"Yo someone is at the door so I will call you guys back later," I say before hanging up the phone.

"Okay love you, woman," Shanice says back.

"Okay, I love you too," I say smiling. We finished saying our goodbyes and hung up.

Once we hung up I answered the door to see C standing with a smile on his face.

"Hey, my queen."

"Hey, my king," I say smiling and stepping to the side.

"It smells good in here." He says walking in.

"Yea I cooked all of your favorite foods," I replied.

He smiled nodded his kissed me on the lips and said,

"Where is my little Prince? "

"He upstairs cleaning his room," I replied as I grabbed his bags.

"Alright."

"Yeah I'll get him when I come back from putting your bags in the guest room." I smiled.

"Naw you good my queen I will get him." He says following in behind.

I walked in the guest room his bags down on the bed when I heard Fred yell out to his dad and that brought a smile to my face. Anyways they came back downstairs and we started eating together like one big happy family.
