After sitting in the waiting room waiting for what seemed like hours the doctor finally came out to tell us the news. letting us know that everything with Clinton was going well and that he would be on bed rest for about a month. He also let us know that Clinton would be staying with me since he had put in a special request to stay with me until he got better. I nodded my head okay and he told us that we could all go in the room one by one starting with me first since I was the first one that he wanted to see. I told him okay and headed to the back towards his room when Shalita started mumbling something under her breath I knew she didn't like me but I really didn't care.

I felt like it was my fault that C cheated on her with me. It wasn't like I put a gun to the man head and told him to do it. He told me that he was single and the two of them had broke up like two years after they had their second child. I mean yea at first I didn't believe him but when his mom and sister told me otherwise I reconsidered talking to him and it led us to where we were now. Anyways I finally made it to his room and saw him sitting up in the bed where he was watching Love and Basketball, That was C's favorite movie and he always said that he would love to have a relationship like that one day.

"Hey C," I say walking over to his bed.

"Hey, ma I'm sorry about this I swear I am." He says sighing.

"It's okay I'm not mad at you," I say smiling.

"You sure,moms," He asked for assurance.

I nodded my head yea and said, "Yea I'm sure now what is this about you wanting to stay with me?"

"Well if it's a problem then I could always just go to my mom's house." He replied.

"No..No, it's not a problem at all I just wanted to know what made you choose me?" I replied.

"I don't know I just know that I would have peace with you and I wouldn't have to worry about anybody fucking with me while I'm tryna rest. Besides, I know you barely be home and I want to at least spend some time with you." He says smiling.

I took a deep breath and said, "Look C I love you I really do but I don't want to be involved in a big love triangle. Yo baby mama already can't stand me and she already wants to try and fight me so I don't need nothing else to add more fuel to that fire." I replied.

"I understand where you're coming from and I'm not trying to have you in no love triangle because guess what I know what I want and what I want is you." He replied.

"Are you sure that's what you won't because if so you need to let me know because I don't have time for the Bs." I replied.

"I'm sure I don't want Shaleta she is too much for me and I don't want to be around that." He sighed.

"Okay well, I'll make sure everything is straightened out when you get home. " I say smiling.

"Alright, Queen." He says smiling.

"Your welcome King ," I say smiling. He smiled pulled me closer to him and kissed me on the lips.

I smiled kissed him back and left out the room telling mama Clarice that she could go in and see C. And with that I headed out so I could go home and prepare everything for his homecoming.
