As me and the girls sat in the movie room and talked we heard a loud banging sound that caused all of us to jump. I looked at both of my girls then back at the door behind us sighed got up and grabbed the baseball bat that I kept behind the door and walked out to the front where I saw C standing there with a bunch of bags. I sighed a big sigh of relief and dropped the bat down on the couch and walked over to where he was standing in the kitchen.

"What the hell is all of this?" I asked walking into the kitchen behind him.

"Oh, hey babe I went to the store." He smiled.

"Yea I see that," I replied.

"I had to get some stuff to cook for tonight since your family is coming over." He smiled.

"Wait for what when did I say anything about my family coming over?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

He laughed shook his head and said.

"You never said they were coming over I did."

"Um okay, I guess," I say confused.

"Yea is Ali and Niecy still here?" He asked as he started unpacking the stuff.

"Yea they're in the movie room," I replied.

"Okay well, here I got this for you to wear tonight." He smiled.

"Um okay, I guess," I say looking down at the box that he was handing me.

"I will go and get Ali and Niecy so they could help me with the dinner." He replied.

I nodded my head okay and headed upstairs to the room where I sat the box on the bed.

I don't know what the hell C had on his mind but whatever it was I know it had to be something big especially for him to be inviting my family. Anyways I went to the bathroom and ran me some shower water and waited for it to get warm. Once it got warm I hopped in and started washing up in my French Vanilla body wash that I had brought about two weeks ago. When I finished doing that I got out the shower dried off and went back to the room opened the box and I saw this nice ass dress and a smile came across my face. This shit was pretty as hell I smiled pulled it out the box and slipped it on.

I couldn't wait to show it to my friends and family. I finished getting dressed and went to the bathroom and started on my hair since it was short I couldn't really do much to it. After I finished that I went back in the room and grabbed the shoes that he had in another box and slipped them on also and made my way downstairs where I saw my family and my two best friends setting the table.

"Well hello, honey don't you look nice." My mom smiled.

"Thanks, mom." I smiled back.

"Hey, baby girl you looking good." My dad smiled as he walked over and hugged me.

"Hey, daddy." I smiled as I hugged him back.

"Oooh look at my sister don't she look good," Nauree smirked.

"Thanks and are you pregnant?"

"Why you ask that?"

"Because you're glowing."

"To be honest I don't even know." I smiled walked over to her and placed my hand on her stomach and started rubbing it she had to be pregnant because she was glowing out this world.

Anyways as we were all talking C called us into the dining room where he had the food on the table. I smiled and licked my lips because it was smelling better than mother bleeper up in here. Anyways we all sat down and started eating when out of nowhere C pulled out a black box and handed it to me.

"Here you go baby girl." C smiled.

"What is this?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Open it and see ma." He replied.

"Okay, I guess," I say shaking my head.

I took the box and opened it only to see a diamond ring in it, that brought tears to my eyes I couldn't believe what I was seeing right now. This all had to be too good to be true.

"You know I love you and you know you got my heart, not matter what all I put yo lil ass through you still stuck by my side and made sure that a nikka stayed on his A game and for that I wanna make you my wife." He smiled.

I couldn't say much because I couldn't believe this after all of these years of going to hell and back with C he was asking me out of all people to marry him.

"Yes, I will marry you," I replied as the tears came down my face.

I couldn't believe that I was getting married this was going to be the best time of my life.
