I pulled into the parking lot of Smiles Dentistry turned my ignition of took me key out and said a quick prayer. Once I finished saying my prayers I smiled grabbed my purse and cell then got out the car and made my way up to the building. When I walked in I saw sister nauree sitting at the front desk with a smile planted on her face I swear girl was always smiling.

"Good Morning sister dearest." She smiles as she greeted me.

"Good morning baby." I smiled back.

"How are you doing this morning?" She smiled again.

"I'm blessed and what about?" I smiled.

She nodded her head and said, "

I'm blessed also."

I smiled and told her well then started to head to the back when nauree called out to me,

"Hey, sis guess what?" She says smiling.

"What's up?" I asked turning around.

"Well, Dreux asked me to marry him." She smiled.

"Wow, congratulations lil sis I'm so proud of you."I smiled back.

"Thank you." She smiles back.

"Where is Stephanie?"

"O she didn't have to work today."

"Alright well, I'm finna go and get ready for the first patient," I say nodding.

"Okay cool." She says handing me the chart.

I smiled nodded my head and headed to the back where I got settled in got my tools out then made my way to the front and called the patient to the back. When I saw who the person was my heart dropped and I instantly started praying that it would be no drama but that all went out the window when she saw who I was.

"Well.Well, look who have here." She smirked as she walked over to me.

"look don't bring all of that negative energy in here and do not approach me while I'm at work." I shot back with a smile.

I could tell that she was furious but it didn't affect me I just walked off and headed to the back when out of nowhere she grabbed me by my hair. That brought tears to eyes and next thing I knew my dad was pulling me off.
