"Fredrick would you hurry up please I have a doctors appointment!" I yelled to my six-year-old son.
He was packing his overnight bag, he was going to stay with his father.
"I'm coming mommy damn!"
"What the fuck dd you just say to me?"
I knew damn well this boy hadn't just cussed at me, he had to have lost his mind. Walking up to the room, I opened the door and stepped inside. This lil' nigga was talking like he was grown.
"Lil' nigga, I don't know who the fuck you think you talking to, but I will bust yo' head wide open."
"Ouch mama, I can't breath let me go," He cried out.
All I could do was laugh I knew it was wrong but I was going to teach this lil' boy. He wasn't going to talk to me like he was the parent.
"Mama please you're hurting me," He whined.
Hear my baby plead for me to stop, was starting to make me feel bad. I was only trying to get him to understand who was the parent. Sighing I released him, grabbed his bags and finished packing his things. After I finished packing his stuff so that he could come and get him. Once I got off the phone with him, Fred and I left. I was going to meet him at the doctor's office. Finally arriving at the doctor's office, I saw Clinton sitting on the hood of his car with a huge smile on his face.
"Daddy!" Fred screamed as he ran over to him.
"Hey, Lill man what's good?"
"Nothing."
Nodding, he then looked at me, as licked lips.
"So ma what's good whatchu been up to?"
"Nothing much just being me and taking care of Fred you know how I do."
"Yeah, I know how yo do," He smirked.
"Same ole same ole, trying to stay out of jail, and make things right with Shalita," He sighed.
"That's wassup."
"Yeah, so when can I take you out?"
"I don't think, so you just said you're trying to work things out with yo' other baby mama," I replied.
"Yeah but I also wanna try and work things out with us as well, I miss you."
Clinton was funny, yeah I loved him, but at the same time, I didn't want the drama. I was trying to go do something for my kids and I. I didn't have time to be fighting over a man that was gone do what he wanted to do.
"So will you go out with me?" He asked.
"I don't know, I'll have to see."
"Alright let me know wassup?"
I nodded kissed Fred on the forehead, then headed inside the doctor's office. I didn't think this was a good idea, to go out with Clinton; apart of me wanted to be with him, but he was trying to fix, things with his baby mama.
