why do you always
leave me hanging?
every time i'm trying,
i always notice you sighing
every time i ask
if everything's okay,
you show me a forced smile
but i can tell that you're lying
as i stare at the ceiling
in the middle of the night
i ask to no one in particular,
"why do i still love you,
even when you make me
feel like nothing?"
