(Hermione's POV)

That coward. How could he just leave like that? You don't just kiss a girl, and leave her there alone, in the cold. What a gentleman he was.

I suppose he was just confused, but so was I, and I didn't run away.

Hermione decided to forget about the whole incident, and just keep on with life. She was sitting in the Gryffindor common room trying to do her homework. Something that didn't work quite as she planned. Her thoughts were completely set on Dra-Malfoy.

"Hermione are you alright?" The question came from a very nervous Lavender Brown. Hermione looked up at her, trying to decide whether to answer or not. "Yeah. Completely fine," She spat. Lavender looked at her with puppy eyes. "Come on Hermione, It was a mistake that's all."

I'm not having this. I really thought we were friends.

She stood up and walked straight out from the Gryffindor common room, and out to the corridors. Somebody was following her out from the common room and into the corridor; Ron. He was calling after her in a very desperate tone. "Mione come on. I am so sorry."

Hermione reluctantly stopped, letting him catch up with her. She breathed to her self hopelessly. "Well. I would like this to go quick, because I have better things to do then to be discussing this matter with you."

"Certainly, Hermione. I want you back. Please," Ron begged. "I don't know how many times you need to hear this until you get it, but I will never ever take you back. I am a strong, independent woman, and I don't forgive cheating." She was as angry as she had ever been. "Get lost!" She exclaimed. Ron took a grip around her wrist, holding her very hard. She could smell from his breath that he had been drinking.

Seamus has smuggled in Fire Whiskey again.

"Ron you are hurting me! Have you been drinking? Let go of me now!" Ron didn't obey. Actually, he did the quite opposed. He leaned in trying to kiss her, but she backed away. "Ronald Weasley. Don't you dare!"

"Is there a problem here?" A sly voice said. Hermione turned her gaze around to see Draco Malfoy standing there in his all black usual outfit. "This isn't about you Malfoy, Get lost!" Ron spat. "Let go of my hand Ron. You are hurting me!" She screamed. "I will not!" Was his final answer.

Draco had moved closer, and was standing between Hermione and Ron.

(Draco's POV)

He looked down at the drunk Weasley, standing in front of him. Feeling like the superior since he was so much taller. "I suggest you leave now, weaselbee, or I personally will make sure you'll regret it," Draco spat with all of his anger.

That bastard. Trying to harm Hermione. Not on my watch.

Ron looked at Hermione with an all so confused look. "Come on, Hermione. Don't say you'd rather stay here with Malfoy than coming back with me." She laughed ironically. "Of course I'd rather stay here, you bastard."

Draco gave him a final warning look, and Ron tumbled away. Draco turned his gaze from Ron to Hermione. She was already walking away, in the other direction. "Hermione, wait!" He called. "What?" She answered with a very angry voice. Terrifying one actually.

"I...I...I" he stuttered. "I am not going to tell you that I'm sorry that I just ran, because I think you already know that. Although, I will say that I really do regret it. It's all so confusing, you know." He looked at her, not knowing what to expect from her.

"I don't know what to tell you Malfoy. You aren't the only one in this you know. I'm just as confused as you are." She stated as a matter of fact.

"I thought we agreed that you would use my first name." He said, twirling his brows. Obviously he was trying to be charming, as he always was.

She looked up at him, using her seductive look. "You gotta deserve it, right?"

He took a big step closer to her, leaving only an inch between them. He gently placed his hands on each side of her face, and looked at her. "Well, Hermione Granger. I will never deserve you anyways." He could feel her breath shivering against his chin.

"You always have to be so melodramatic," She chuckled.

At least you got yourself out of than one, mate.

He looked down at the short girl next to him. Wrapping his arms around her skinny waist, he whispered, "Only for you, love." He felt her grin widen against his chest. With that, he pulled her closer, feeling their bodies together as one.
