(Hermione's POV)

Hermione did love the winter very much. However, she had never experienced such a strange one before. The things she had always admired so much about the winter had become small in comparison to the things she currently had on her plate. Firstly, she was a prefect, and had duties. Secondly, she was not talking to Ron or many of the other Gryffindor's anymore. Lastly, she was having a secret "relationship "with Draco Malfoy.

Holy criket

(Draco's POV)

Draco was walking up to the owlery. He had arranged for Hermione to meet him there. Therefore, they could talk together. In fact, they really needed to have a discussion, because they had to sort out the does and the don'ts. He walked in to see her there cuddled up by the window, reading a book of course.

So stuck up in that book that you don't notice me. At least you're cute.

He came up behind her and placed his hands over her eyes. "Guess who?" Immediately she jumped at his words. "Owwoooooooo. Draco! You startled me!"

He laughed at her innocent look. "You don't say." He grinned. She only glared at him, trying to hide her smile.

He wrapped his arm around her waist, and pulled her closer to him. "So I figured we needed to talk. And since you wanted to meet me here my guess is that you thought the same thing." She said, hugging him back.

"Yes, it would be smart to kind of talk about this." He wrinkled his nose. "What is this, exactly?" She asked him. "Well dear, I don't know. That's one of the things we need to discuss."

Reluctantly, he let go of the grip around her, and took her hand. "Come, sit with me" he nodded towards the hard floor. They both took a seat, and he started to talk. "You know. This is the last thing I would have thought I would be doing. If you told me about this, two weeks ago; I would have thought someone had crucioed you into insanity."

She chuckled at his statement. "Yeah, same." She nodded at him. "So, Draco. What exactly is it we need to sort out."

"Firstly, what this is and what we are going to doing about this." He exclaimed, looking quite serious. "Yeah, you can tell me, because I don't know." She smiled.

"Well. I know what I hope that this is," he said, with his charming voice. "And what exactly is that, Draco," She smirked the famous Slytherin smirk.

"I'm not ashamed to say that I hope very much, that you'd like to be mine. Even though it would have to be in secret. I do not want you to get hurt by my dad, or my friends. Or your friends for that matter."

She was quite stunned. He didn't try to hide anything. Not afraid at all, something that was shocking to her. She was the brave Gryffindor here, but she did not have the guts to tell something like that to him.

"Say something," he was quite nervous. She looked at his dreamy silver eyes, and smiled to him. A blond lock was hanging down on his face. She pushed it back, and leaned in, placing her lips gently in his. He responded the kiss easily. Pushing his puffed lips gently on her small and pouty ones.

I had never expected Hermione to be such a great kisser.
