Chapter 10; Friends

Lets pretend it has not been forever and that I had not forgotten about this fic.....Ehmm well sorry? To make up for the lost time Ill spam you with chapters right now. Oh and Im currantly writig chapter 20 so I have some chapters already made, dont worry. This one is boring and short, srry. But it is important to bring more characters into the story.

(Hermione's POV)

Hermione and Ginny was walking from potions. "Were did you disappear last night? I did not see you after dinner. Ginny asked with a worried voice.

Hermione's posture tensed. "Just the Library," she tired. Ginny wrinkled her brows in disbelief. "Lavender said she looked after you in the library, but you wasn't there."

Shit! Forgot about Lavender.

"Then she didn't look good enough, did she?" Hermione spat. "What's got you so worked up and why are you going after Lavender?" Ginny standing up for Lavender was the last thing Hermione needed right now, and to be honest, it really pissed her off.

"Oh, did I forget to tell you?" Hermione said with an over excited voice. "Your brother cheated on me with her!" she exclaimed in true anger.

"What!" Ginny screamed. "I'm going to kill him. Do you know where he is right now, because I'm going to find him and kill him." Ginny's face was a very suiting shade of red.

"Don't bother. Just leave him alone." Hermione said rolling her eyes.

"Have you talked to him? How did you find out he was cheating? Did he try to apologise, because I would think he would be a bit sad?" Ginny's face was a big question mark.

"One question at the time, geeeese gin. " Hermione replied. "Well when I was doing my rounds a few days ago, I found them making out behind the old lion statue. Yes, he tried to explain several times. One time he had been drinking, but Malfoy came and-" Ginny cut her off. "Malfoy came. Oh no what did he do?" "Nothing" Hermione started. "He just helped me getting Ron to back off."

Leave all the details out Mione. She cannot know.

"Helped you? Malfoy, hah" Ginny laughed ironic. "Yeah, guess he just want to use any chance he has to get into an argument with Ron." She said, trying to hide her flushed face.

(Draco's POV)

"What's Ron with you", asked Blaise quite concerned. (What is Ron with you. Did you get it? Potterhead humour ^^)"Huh, nothing" Draco tried. "You are telling me that you are sitting here in a complete trance, but there is nothing wrong with you?" Said the tall Slytherin. "Told you, I'm fine" Draco spat, leaving the boys dormitories.

He was so confused. What should he do? It wasn't as if he could just openly start to date Hermione Granger. That would be stupid. His dad would most probably kill Hermione in front of him. In addition, kill Draco himself. If the rest of the Slytherin gang hadn't done that before, that is.

In addition to his own problems, he knew that Hermione would have a big problem with her friends. They would never speak to her again.

Why is life so darn complicated?
