(Draco's POV) It was so close to the holidays that he could almost smell it. Christmas was his favourite time of the year. Although, this year thing were going to be quite different. The one thing he really wanted was to spend his time with Hermione. Disappointingly, he would not get to see her, so the holidays would most probably suck. He was going home to the manor, and she was going to stay with Weaslette and Potty at her house. (Because she was too upset to stay at the burrow).

..........

Today was the big game that everyone had been waiting for. Slytherin against Gryffindor, which in Hogwarts language meant Potter vs Malfoy. Oh how Draco wanted to beat them, just for once.

Of course, this had nothing to do with Potter. He just wanted to impress Hermione so badly. To show her that he could do something, that he was good in something. Well, she would probably be cheering for Gryffindor, but he wondered if she ever even for a second would cheer for him.

(Hermione's POV)

Hermione and Luna was taking a seat with the Gryffindor's. This match was going to be epic. Too bad, she could not cheer on Draco. Although, in her mind she would.

Hermione looked at the unusual girl beside her.

Think about how easy life would be if I could be like Luna. Just having no worries, and being able to relax easily would be my dream.

She watched carefully through the whole game. Every time either Harry or Draco would be close to hurting them self, she would tighten her grip on her book. (Yes, she was actually reading at the same time. Hermione, Hermione.)

Both Harry and Draco had seen the snitch. They were both fighting over the speed. As they both reached out to grip it, a bludger hit them both, and they had to keep going. It looked like Harrys hand was a bit more injured than Draco's.

He was faster now. He flew after the snitch in a speed now one had never seen before. He was so close and then; "Draco Malfoy catches the snitch, and Slytherin wins," a not so happy Dean exclaimed.

Hermione could not help but smile.

(Draco POV)
He had caught it! For the first time in what seemed like forever, he had won against Saint Potter. Even better, Hermione had been there watching the whole time. He looked descre down towards the Gryffindor's, and saw a smiling Hermione sitting with Looney Lovegood.

His grin was as big as his own confidence. Their eyes met only for a second, but it was enough. Because he knew, and she knew, what others never would know.

Sorry for a short and shitty chapter, but it was nesacary to have some "normal" things happening. Not only Dramione moments.
