Our Beautiful Insanity

Chapter 14; unexpected.

(Writers POV)

Hermione and Draco ran quickly along the old corridors. They were hiding from Peeves who clearly had seen something. They needed to be more careful, because nobody could know. They were running fast towards the room of requirement when they heard voices. Draco quickly stopped and dragged Hermione between to old statues. It was very narrow, so they were as close as they could ever be. They could feel each other's breath against their chin, and feel how fast the heart of the other was beating.

The voices was closer, but they could not recognise who it was. They needed to stay quiet so nobody would see them. Eventually, Hermione's eyes widened when she heard Dean say, "I don't think there is anyone around. We are fine here."

Draco and Hermione's mouth hung open as they both wanted to hear who the other person was. "I wish we could stop meeting like this" Dean exclaimed. The two hiding looked at each other knowing well enough the desire to be together in public.

"I wish so to, but my parents, they would never approve. We have talked about this Dean." Hermione let out a gasp, which Draco quickly stopped by putting his hand over her mouth. The voice belonged to Seamus Finnegan.

(I know Deamus! If you didn't love me before, you must now, cuz we all know deamus is one of the best Harry Potter ships)

Hermione and Draco stared at each other for several minutes, until Dean and Seamus had left. "Shit. That was so close." Draco was fixing his tie, which had been messed up while they were running. Hermione was speechless. "Dean and Seamus. What. When. Huh?" She was one big question mark.

Draco smirked at the surprised girl in front of him. "Honestly love, didn't you ever notice. I mean it's pretty obvious isn't it?"

"You knew?" She asked raising her brows in surprise.

"Of course I knew. I'm surprised you didn't. I thought you were the smartest witch of your age?" He teased her.

She took a step closer to his, narrowing her dark hazel eyes. "Are you implying that I'm not? Are you questioning my level of intelligence Draco? Because if you are, I suggest you take it back. At least, if you want your face to look the same way it does now."

The words came so fast it wa shard for him to hang on. However, he could stop to notice how beautiful she was when she was angry. Her eyes were even more sparkly, if that was possible. He lifted her chin towards him. "I would never do such thing." He said giving her a peck on the cheek.

"You better not." She stated and walked towards their secret place; the room of requirements. "Well are you coming or not?" She stood there with her hand ready for his grip. He walked towards her and twined his hand with hers. The door appeared, and they both walked inside. Disappearing from the rest of the world together.
