One week later
Nicki POV
"Hello...hey Candi girl....holding this spoil baby while trying to fix me a sandwich I swear she's spoiled she won't even let me put her down." I say placing the phone on speaker as I held Braelynn carefully on my shoulder. "But she only a week a few days Nic so how she know what spoiled is." She says as I sighed. "You must forgot how active she was in the womb, please she knows when her daddy's not here so she has most definitely been keeping me up at night and besides he always be holding her" I say finally getting my sandwich made.
"Awww imma come see my sugafoot, maybe today" she says as I picked my sandwich up biting into it. "Please do. I'm tired and I should've never let Rihmeek go but he talked me into it" I say smacking carrying my plate and Braelynn to the living room. "Wow really Nic, you didn't put your foot down this time" she ask as I placed my plate on the table. "Girl I did but then we had an argument about how that's income money and blah blah blah. He was irking so I told him to go and leave me the hell alone which is exactly what his stupid ass did" I say walking over to lay brae down in her bassinet.
"Wooooow really Nic" she says as I placed Braelynn's pacifier in her mouth. "Yes and I was like nigga I don't give a fuck your daughter was born this week I need your ass here with me I can see if she was some months old. Then his ass goes to say, well Nic you know this was already set out and planned a week before her due date so I knew you'd be good at the time this was scheduled. Then I was like Braelynn decided she wanted to come two weeks early so all of that should've been canceled but then he goes to say he forgot and that it was too late to rearrange shit so that's when I said what I said and his ass left" I say biting into my sandwich again.
"Wow y'all are a mess. I'm on my way though hoe so unlock the front door" she says as I became excited. "Awww bae you coming to spend time with me while my kids in school I fucking love you" I say hearing the call drop. "Bitch" I say under my breath before getting up to unlock the door. Glancing at brae she was up looking sucking her pacifier hard and shit. "Your godmommy outside baby girl, she came to see us, well you but she better be here to see mommy too or she gone stay outside" I say smiling at her as the door opened.
"Hey babes" she says coming in closing the door behind her walking over hugging me. "Hey hoe" I say as she took her jacket off. "Awww Nic why you got my God baby so far away from you" she says walking over to her as I sat down to finish my sandwich. "So she can actually stay in there while I eat and get things done. When she's close she won't let mommy do anything and like I said before her bigheaded daddy always hold her." I say watching her take her out. "Oh well has she been changed" she asks as I nodded.
"Changed yes, fed no she ate a hour ago so I'll feed her once I'm done feeding myself. Could've been done with this if she would've stayed sleep." I say as Candi sat down kissing her head. "Fix her mittens on her fist please" I say smacking as she looked over at me. "What" I say as she shook her head. "You gotta smack like that" she says as I started smacking louder. "Hell yeah you'd be doing the same so hush. You must want one" I ask as she rolled her eyes.
"Yeah hoe that's what I thought" I say as Braelynn started crying. "Uhhh no see. Get up and walk around with her she'll hush. I'm just about finished" I say as Candi tried to quiet her down but she wouldn't stop hollering. Finishing my sandwich I went to the kitchen placing my dish in the sink washing my hands before returning in the living room grabbing her feeding pillow. "Bring her greedy butt here" I say as Candi brung her over placing her gently on the pillow. "You not gone use a blanket" she ask as I shook my head no taking my boob out.
"It's just us here and you act like you haven't seen these jugs before" I say placing my nipple over Braelynn's mouth as she turned her head quickly latching on. "She is so greedy" I sighed as Candi sat beside me rubbing her head. "She loves that" I say as she smiled. "Why meek must rub her head while you're nursing her" she ask as I nodded. "Yup" I simply say looking down at Braelynn. "Aww his girls miss daddy" she says as I smacked my teeth. "Girl bye I most certainly do not" I say as she laughed.
"Yes the fuck you do too don't front." She says as I fanned her off. "I'm mad at him and I haven't really been answering his calls and when I do I barely talk. The girls say I'm being petty" I say hearing my phone ring. "You are" Candi says getting up to get my phone as I huffed. "AM NOT" I yelled scaring Braelynn as she jumped whining. "I'm sorry baby girl." I say placing my nipple back into her mouth. "Yeah she's right here feeding your daughter" I heard Candi say coming back with my phone as I sighed realizing she was on FaceTime with Rihmeek.
"What" I simply say as Candi passed me the phone. "Drop the petty shit Onika on some real shit. You know I'm calling to check up on you and my baby." He says as I rolled my eyes. "Well she's eating right now, we good. Candi here to keep me company even both our family has been over to visit me. Trust me I'm good" I say as Candi smacked her teeth. "She's lying meek she misses the fuck outta of you and wants you to hurry back" she says as I smacked my teeth looking over at her.
"Will you hush, none of that is true by the way" I say trying not to crack a smile as he spoke. "Candi I believe you and she lucky she can't do shit right now swear to god I'd fuck her shit..." he says as I ended the call. "Now Nic why you do that, you really playing in my brother's face" she says as I shrugged. "He was talking too much and you don't need to hear all that" I say as she chuckled. "Please we know what y'all be doing, y'all got 4 kids" she says as I shushed her. "Oh hush up. Wanna burp her" I ask as she giggled nodding her head yes. Passing brae over I placed my boob back inside my shirt. "I'll be back imma go call Rihmeek back" I say as she smirked.
