Meek POV
"Aye yall Nicki just called me and said she was in labor" I say before drinking from my beer bottle. Taking y'all back to nine months ago me and Nicki of course had sex because that's what married couples do, although I wasn't staying in the house. Jaylen was 11 and Camryn was 6. What we did wasn't a slip up because we are married so she's now about to give birth to our 3rd child. "Okay cool, we'll get you down there no problem. You need to get help for this alcohol problem you got going on too bul" omelly says.
"Man fuck I don't have a problem. Just get me down to the hospital so I won't miss my daughter's birth" I say finishing the last bit of it before going outside. My license were took for DUI so I've been catching rides and cabs here and there. Hopping in his car we arrived no less than 30 minutes going up to her room knocking on the door. "Come in" I heard Nicki say as I placed my hood on my head going inside.
"There's daaaaaaad" her mother says as I walked over to hug her and everyone else before walking over to Nicki who was hooked up to machines. "Hey baby" I say as she just nodded. "Hey meek" she says as I leaned down hugging her. "You've been drinking haven't you" she says shaking her head as I sighed. "How many centimeters are you" I ask hearing the door open. "6" she says as jaylen and Camryn came in. "Dadddddyyyyy" Camryn screams running into me as I smiled picking her up.
"Hey baby girl" I say as she hugged my neck. "When you coming home" she says as I looked over at Nic seeing she was shaking her head. "Daddy got to get clean first cam" she says as I sighed placing her back down. "Yo I'll be out in the hall. Call me when it's time to push" I say as she sighed. "Meek wait. Come here" she says patting the bed as I sat beside her. "I don't want you to leave meek. I want you here with me" she says as I nodded. Few hours later Aryn was born.
Months later....
I was currently sitting at a bar minding my business when some female came over. "I was chillin across the room and couldn't help but notice yo sexy ass. How are you" she says as I nodded not saying a word but sipping my drink. I was drunk as hell and about to leave by a cab when she stopped me. "Woah now baby where you going all drunk like this. I'll help you" she says holding my arm as we made it outside.
"You single" she says as we walked with me stumbling. "Nah I'm m-married" I slurred before being pushed inside a vehicle. My head was pounding and everything was blurry things went black which was the only thing I could remember, oh and waking up naked in someone else's bed. Months went by before an unknown number called saying she was expecting and that we were a couple blah blah blah but I wanted no part and didn't know nothing about this whole situation so I agreed to do child support and that's it along with a DNA test. Keeping this from nicki wasn't easy but it was worth it.
End of Flashback
Nicki POV
"Wow you could've told me so I could've beaten her ass meek. Juat wait till I see her again" I say while changing Braelynn's diaper. "I know and I'm sorry it's just we were already working on fixing our marriage at the time and I also was in rehab getting cleaned from alcohol. Getting trapped like that was nothing but the devil trying to keep us apart and I wasn't having that so I never told you." He says as I shook my head fastening her onesie.
"Wow. I can't even be mad right now or cry because it's always something with you meek I swear. But I'll believe your little story for now. We're in a better and amazing place in our marriage that I don't want to go backwards with you anymore. I mean come on 16 years of marriage including the 20+ years we've been together, why mess it up over some dumb petty shit from our past?" I say handing brae to him before cleaning her mess up putting things away.
"Yeah I agree but in the meantime let's figure out where crystal went with the boys and why because I raised jaylen better than that" he says as I shrugged pulling my phone out. "I don't know but I'll get the truth out of them. Imma go call her again. She doesn't answer then I'm calling the police because this shit is really ridiculous." I say as we walked out braelynns room. Meek went downstairs with her as I went to our room to handle this phone call.
"Hey mom" I heard her say as I clicked FaceTime to see her. "Don't hey mom me you seen me calling you all damn day girl" I say as she laughed nervously. "Well my phone has been off I'm sorry but I'm in LA with my dads side of the family." She says as I scrunched up my face. "Really. Now why would you....you know what glad to see you okay. How's the boys" I ask as she placed the camera on Caden who was sleep and Amir who was just looking around.
"Awww I miss them. You and jaylen need to get it together and bring yo ass back. You damn well then kids need their father." I say as she sighed. "Well their father is never home during the night so I assume he's cheating" she says as threw my head back. "Okay but is he? You got me thinking he's cheating on you girl" I say annoyed at her petty behavior and his. "I mean I don't know. He says he's working but I know he's not" she says as I laughed shaking my head.
"How long has this been going on for" I ask getting comfortable on bed soon ready for a nap. "2 weeks so for him to learn I left" she says as I yawned closing my eyes. "We'll bring yo ass back and I'll settle this petty shit the two of you got going on you hear me." I say as she sighed. "Yes mom I hear you. You look sleepy" she says as I nodded my head yawning again. "I am so I'm about to take a nap soon as I get off the phone with you." I say as she smiled. "Well I won't hold you long mom. I'll be back in 3 days" she says as I dozed off. "Okay baby, I'll talk to you later" I say as she okay'd me. "Love you" she says as I smiled. "Love you too, bye" I say ending the call drifting off to sleep.
