"Damn you still gone eat while in labor" Meek says as I sucked on a chicken bone. We just arrived to the hospital because we went home first so that I could change into some sweats and get our hospital stay bag. Sitting in the parking deck I started eating my food and boy was I pissed. My water broke but that was the only thing that happened I haven't went into labor officially yet. "So ion give a fuck my ass haven't had a real meal all damn day and her ass decides she wants to come into the world today unannounced" I say as he shook his head.
"Nah she did give you warnings this morning and before we went to the party so don't do my baby like that" meek says as I shrugged. "Nah I always get back pains so I honestly thought she was just being stubborn with me but no she just had to pop my water, didn't even give mommy time to enjoy the damn party and see some of your gifts" I say looking down at my stomach. "Man you ready to go inside or are you gone wait till you feel a contraction" he says as I placed the foil back over my plate.
"We can go because I'm going to be an even more of a bitch once the pain starts. Damn Braelynn mommy wasn't prepared for an early arrival you know your lil butt was suppose to get here in the next two weeks. She's already bad meek swear she's getting popped soon as she come out cuz NO" I say feeling a light contraction come over me as I closed my eyes breathing in and out slowly. "See stop talking shit to and about my baby, she don't like that shit" meek says as I mugged him.
"Shut the fuck up Rihmeek before you get the fuck popped too!" I say rubbing my stomach as he reached back getting my bag not saying a word and his ass knows not to especially what he's about to put me through. My door opened as he helped me out. "Ready" he says as I linked our arms holding on to my plate. "Yeah" I say lowly as we started walking towards the entrance. "Oh god meek I'm watering again" I say feeling more the amniotic fluid still flowing out of me. "Ugh I just put these sweats onnnn" I whined as we got on the elevator.
"All this shit baby girl putting you through will be well worth it once she's here baby so just calm down. I can already tell she has your attitude and both hers and yours are mixing right now." He says as I sighed. Getting off the elevator we went to the desk signing in before they gave us a room setting me up and getting me comfortable. "Okay so we're going monitor baby girls heart rate and your contractions on the machine up until she's down in the birth canal. Anything you'd like for us to get you while you wait" a nurse says as I nodded.
"Yes I know Doctor hall won't get here til later but can you tell her how hungry I am and how my baby didn't allow me to eat the way I wanted to earlier" I say as she laughed. "I'm guessing that's your plate right there huh" she says as I nodded. "Mmmhmmm and I'd like to finish it" I say as she smiled nervously. "Well you're in labor now momma, that's a lot of food how about I go get you some ice cream or chips" she says as I sighed throwing my head back because I wanted real food. I've been eating shit like chips and things all damn day.
"I'll take the ice cream, y'all have ice cream sandwiches" I ask as she said yes making me become somewhat excited. "Yes ma'am I'll got get you one" she says as I nodded telling meek to come here. "Make that two please" I say as she walked out. "Damn ma you need two" meek says as I smacked my teeth. "One was for you dickhead and I hope her ass heard me too" I say as he stared at me. "Man you lucky you in labor swear I'm tired of you talking shit getting away with it." He says as I smiled awwing him.
"Awww babe, I'm sorry. Fix my pillows for me please" I say as he stares at me. "Pleeeeease, for us daddy" I say sweetly in my baby voice as he started fluffing and fixing them up behind my back and side. "Tank yewwww" I say as he laughed. "Man stop being a baby" he says as I poked my lips out for him to kiss them. "Gimme kiss daddy" I say as he sighed leaning down kissing me but I pulled him closer deepening it. "Damn chill out and stop getting so excited" he says as the nurse came back with three ice cream sandwiches.
"I brung dad one and momma two" she says as I smiled really big clapping my hands. "Yaaaaaay, thank youuuuuuu" I sing as she smiled telling me you're welcome before leaving. "Greedy" meek says opening his as I shrugged. "Our moms, Candi and titi, and Na will be up here soon and I may be sleeping by then so don't wake me" I say biting into the ice cream sandwich as he nodded. Once I was done with both I decided I'd get some rest but Braelynn wasn't having that.
20 minutes later my contractions were coming back to back and I just couldn't handle the pain anymore so I had meek get the nurses in here to give me an epidural. "Daaaaaamn Braelynn" I whined turning on my side holding the railing of the bed trying the hardest not to cry. "They coming baby" I heard meek say coming back in and over to me as I balled up tucking my chin in my chest. "Breathe and relax ma, breathe and relax" he whispers in my ear rubbing my back as I did the exercises he was telling me calming down and relaxing.
"Alright Onika ready for your epidural" I heard someone say as I nodded not looking over to see who it was. Meek then helped me sit up as I laid my head on his stomach wrapping my arms around his waist as they stuck my lower back with the needle making me hiss grabbing on to meek tighter. "Don't jump momma it's almost in there" I heard them say as I relax instantly feeling my lower half go numb. "You're all set" she says as meek placed my legs back in bed throwing the covers over me.
"Meek come lay with me before everyone comes to the room" I say finally being able to relax. "Okay baby" he says as I smiled. Looking over at the monitor I saw I was only six centimeters and now that I'm drugged up it's going to go even slower now so I'm about to go to sleep. "Damn you really want my big tall ass in bed with you ma" he says as I made room for him.
"Yes daddy stop playing and lay with me" I say softly as he got in. Cuddling him I smiled looking up at him as he pecked my lips rubbing my hair. "Thanks for being so patient with me, well us" I say feeling him rub my stomach. "It's my job baby, get some rest" he says as kissed him one last time before laying my head down on his chest taking a nap.
