Faithful

Thundering hoofs pound the ground, ripping up the earth
The still silent air carries the sound of the army coming forth
Never towards the side they stray
By faith they dive, and by faith they die

Faith, even as thin as a willow branch, is more valuable than the priceless jewel
For faith is the surety of things unseen and by others unproved
By faith alone may one of small stature be able to do singular things
Actions that others are baffled by, things that in which they themselves have failed

It is whipped around, lashed within life's storm, but better than a kings riches
It is because of ones faith that a person is able to do extraordinary things
Have the strength to be docile when others ridicule them for the same
And by faith walls come down and paths erupt, letting people in

To walk by faith alone is a brave thing, worthy of the greatest honour
By faith men will walk blindly, without fear or assurance, into the unknown, where only God knows could happen
By faith alone women find the will to do many great noble things, and become legends in their own right, in the sight of others
By faith even the dog, an animal of the earth, and by love, will they throw themselves away for you, not wanting anything for themselves

Oh how I wish I had faith such as these, the heroes of old
For even faith as like a grain of sand can move the largest mountain
