Leaves Who Fall

The regal robes of autumn fall or'e the forest floor
A time of peace to gently prepare for all many years more

For days perhaps the sun may rise
And carry with it frigid chills
Warming till the come of night
Which gently frost the sleeping hills

People making snap decisions
Called forth of deceit and lies
But only human laws are broken
Only those that flee the skies

And live in fear upon the ground
They see but fearsome all around

But pray! Grow weary of living in fear
Let my cry of escape fall on your ear
Fro these days of fall are flying by
Soon there'll be no one left to cry

For though to stay here is safe
Soon you will starve

So up with you! Tear up the moon and howl at fate
Lash you anger upon the sky
Rattle the stars with your roar
And call the gods down from the heavens

Let them stand trial to your judgement, for even the seas cannot contain the torrent of your rage
Let the waves wash over your soul
Let those who've wronged you learn their lie
And come crawling back from the shadows

For the fall has the colors of an auburn sky
It's fringe goes white with frost
Let yourself move on with bitter sighs
And let the leaves who fall stay lost.
