Chapter ten

Farkle's POV:

I run out of the apartment, my beanie in my hand.

I open the door that leads to the stairs and run down them.

What did I just do?

I arrive at the bottom of the stairs. I sit down to catch my breath, and to think about what just happened.

I kissed her.

And it was amazing.

I wanted to kiss her more.

I want to kiss her more.

I want to be with her.

I don't want to be with Isadora.

I want to be with Riley Matthews.

The girl with the long brown hair and chocolate brown eyes.

The girl with the laugh that is contagious.

The girl with the smile that takes your breath away.

The girl who believes she is invisible.

The girl I am in love with.

"I love her." I say just barely above a whisper.

I can't help but smile. "I'm in love with Riley Matthews." The words flow off of my tongue so easily and I love the sound of those words.

I sound like such a girl, but I don't care.

I stand up, and pull out my phone.

I click on Riley's contact.

To Sunshine: sorry for running out. Meet me on top of the Ferris wheel, tonight, eight pm. :)

I click send before shoving my phone back into my pocket.

I put my beanie back on my head and leave the building.
